He’s playing a tight game

We know from the Brewster transfer that he can be tempted into spending more money. He’s been very tight of late but all of these links to players - plus the suggestion he’d like to stay on now in some form - makes me think he’s getting a bit excited. Which isn’t necessarily a good thing because he’ll no doubt be spending against future income, as we saw with Brewster, but it at least brings us a bit more hope.
