Chorley council

I If they were asking our club to pass on the message to supporters, fair enough. But oh no. They're asking the club to
"cascade" it to supporters.

Conclusion: they deserve to get their town smashed up

I’ve never been to Chorley. Will pencil a visit in now.

I know this is pie in the sky but personally, I’d say that the focus needs to move on the tacit acceptance of the behaviour of the bell-ends rather than the Plod or town centres that have to try and ensure security for everyone.
This board is full of complaints about SYPD and steel walls etc but no recognition of even just the low-level stuff that means those steps are sometimes necessary.
Shouting and swearing and being generally tanked up and lairy might all be part of the match experience but even that gives Plod the excuse to do what they do.
We might never live in a society where there’s no trouble at football, but if we want to stop police/council interference in us going about our business then the underlying cause of it needs stamping out.

I'm thinking that this is certainly a case of "football supporterism"; marginalisation and discrimination at the very least and I'm officially offended !! o_Oo_O:eek:

Although I'm surprised that the arrogant deluded swine are not welcomed with open arms ……. after all its SUFC supporters that everyone hates and the Council will not want their children, disabled people and wheelchair users kidney punched on the way to a match ….

UTB & FTP

However, the real outrageous actual actions were from the Hens. I saw women squatting in doorways, discarded male blow up dolls, Lycra mini skirts that if not sprayed on were riding up high, a liberal leaving of chocolate ‘shaped items’ on pub tables, regular renditions of ‘Its raining men’ or ‘I will survive’, high heels wobbling under the weight of the owner or the cobbles beneath, suggestive comments that would make a trooper blush and more baps on display than in Cooplands.
.

Also known as 'pigs on stilts'.

It is a good job other councils weren’t so prissy in years gone by, then I wouldn’t had the exciting opportunity of getting drunk in places I’d never even heard of before like Shepshed, Ripley and Hebden Bridge.......

Would anyone notice the difference in Ripley (the Derbyshire variety) post marauding masses of unruly football fans ?

Sack it off. Never intended to go there out of choice, so no real skin off my nose as it happens. Will just go somewhere I am welcome instead.

I feel confident that the publicans of Chorley will welcome with open arms all those who wish to buy and drink their beer.

No matter what the precious Cllr Gee says.

It's hard to tell (without knowing you or having tone of voice or facial expression to go on) in your original post where you switch from wanting your words to mean what that say, to where you are using them ironically to mean the opposite of what they say. It is always appreciated when intentions are made clear (unless ambiguity is the aim).

Substitute 'Jews' for 'Football Supporters' and all of a sudden it takes on a far more sinister tone

The last thing Councils want to do is take money out of a town, but when there’s been a history of nobheads carrying on, theyve been faced with no other choice. Maybe it’s the nobheads that’s the problem?

Fair play to Chorley. If I wanted to go into a town/city centre full of drunken idiots (from early morning), people off their heads on drugs, rough sleepers and aggressive beggars, I'd stay in Sheffield.

Ales dirt cheap. Stopped there before Bolton away 2 years ago. Bolloxed off £20.
