A thread on "WeareBlades" posted by a gooner seems to suggest Arsenal want Che for 1.6 million. In return we get two loanees from them, a ball playing centre half and a midfielder.

It's already posted somewhere on here, somewhere pal, I am sure it said the two loanees were youngsters with no first team experience.

With Adams level of performance just now no premiership team would pay real money for him ,he's a long way to go to be a real player at our level.Arsenal !! Someone s having a laugh.potential yes but he's miles away from being a top player.

So we want our young prospects sold ,then we can all want the board sacked when they do

Depends what's the pragmatic response, it's all a balance based on probability.

I am far from convinced by Adams... HBJnr says I am "just mental". Just imagine if the Board have the same divergence of opinions...

The rumour I heard was 295,000 up front and then pay for appearances etc., for me that is no deal
That's a right loads of bollocks!
Where's the risk for Arsenal?! They either get a bargain who could turn into the next Ox, or he doesn't progress as expected and they pal 295 grand??
We should get 1.5m and if he doesn't reach his potential -TOUGH,it's still peanuts to those rich southern bastards?

You said that Che hasn't had a good game since Tottenham...

I think all though he's young, most of us expected Che to now be playing like a £1.6 million player, unfortunately he isn't and is worth no where near that amount.

If Arsenal are buying then we need to put the price up to about £20million.

I'd love someone to offer £1.6m for him, or more. I'd take it in a flash.

Are you Ricky McCabe? If not I think he and HRH would object to you nabbing their £1.6m ;)

"Can't hold them back, loved working with him and we wish him all the best"

"It frees up wages to allow us to sign real talent for this great club"

"We're pleased to announce a new 3 year deal for Neil Collins"

Swizzler doth protest to much, I think your a secret Neil Collins admirer

As for Adams I predict a sale <£1m and a loan back to us to the end of the season al la Deli Ali

i dont know whats happened with che adams whether he's let the praise get to his head but he was outstanding 1st few months. i went on record to say that if he keeps it up cert for for pfa team of the year. but since november he has been pretty poor

Think mixing with the young England lads and finding out how much they were on has done his head in, remember he came back with a mystery illness, didn't play, a shadow of his early promise..... Could be that...

I did say it was a rumour I had heard pal,, so take it with a big pinch of salt.

Still, I thought Che was garbage when he came on the pitch against Peterborough. Going from Ilkeston to SUFC is a great fairy story, but only if you work hard once you get here.

Just reading my post back and I sound a bit of mardy arse, the frustration wasn't at you though mate it was at the possibility of losing more prospects for peanuts.

If you go back to Adkins post Pboro interview when asked about Che Adkins said he hasn't played for a month and let slip that he (Che) had one or two things going on ???

Yes, I gleaned from it that something or other is going on with his personal life. Adkins gave just enough of a hint but deliberately didn't go into much detail.

From WAB if anybody is interested:

"Good Evening Gentlemen.

Reading the messageboard, it feels as though it’s a split decision.

Some saying he’s worth it and much more, some saying hell never make it as a first team player at my club.
I know that the scouts based in your area and further north are watching a lot of players with “potential” one other lad being Josh Windass at Accrington Stanley.
I’ll get to know more over the weekend.

With no disrespect to your club staff, it’s a totally different philosophy at Arsenal. If you remember two ex-Arsenal pros, Steve Gatting and Steve Morrow, they’re the nucleus of the development/scouting set up, so if they rate a player, they must have seen something that maybe us as supporters of our respective clubs don’t.

Final word on our two lads heading north, they’ll walk into any L1 clu’s first team.

Adios Amigos"

"Good Day

Latest info.

Transfer fee clause (£1.6M) has been met by Arsenal, this includes a 25% sell on clause to his previous club.
Medical Monday. If passed, straight into squad for match vs Blackburn Rovers on Tuesday.

Possible loan back to SUFC, depending on other loans previously memntioned.

Apparently, there’s a lad called Flynn who’s scored about 60goals already this season in NonLeague that you’re interested in as a replacement?
Scouts now looking at nonleague players after Jamie Vardys rise to fame."

"Gentlemen.

Deal on hold at moment.

Other clubs now in for him including AFC Bournmouth, Yids, Hammers.
Championship sides inc Leeds, Sheffeild Wed, Derby County, Notts Forest, Ipswich.

Adios Amigos."

Read into that what you will...
