Did anyone else think that Hasselbaink was being a whinging sod?
everytime something didn't go his way, infact even if it did go his way he still moaned and moaned at the ref

Gutted!

Whilst i not wish to poke fun to those 'Blades' who left around the 70th minute mark and missed the best atmosphere of the season so far...i do wish to point out the Cardiff City fans...who certainly thought the 3 points was in the bag.

Armstrongs strike came out of nowhere which gave all us Blades a little glimpse of hope, and Morgan sealed the 1 point for us aswell as put all the Welsh heads in their laps.

From what i saw from my view...it did look like a penalty to me personaly...but then again...who knows? and the referee was completely aweful...pass back? i think so!

The match had so much mixed emotion i wasnt sure which way to turn...we had again the ''Robbson sort it out! etc...etc..'' chant...and the plea for Warnocks return...but all in all in my opinion the fans were excelent...i herd hardy any booing at half time...and much more needed cheering...and look where it got us...proving my point...cheering does work...and booing doesnt!

What was your opinion on tuesday nights 6 goal thrill??

Sheffield-Bl4de

That was one of the worst refereeing performances I've seen for a while, although I have no complaints about the penalty, because it was.

We should have had 3 penalties though, that's what I'm more pissed off about.

I thought we played well last night, the only let down for me was Morgan, he was at fault for all 3 goals, slack header away for the first, stupid foul for the second and left his man for the third. I'd drop him for a few games because he's showing a real lack of discipline and I'd bring Lucketti in, so that would be my only change for Saturday. We played some good football and always looked a threat, it was just everytime we looked like doing anything the referee seemed to give a foul.

Infact... he wasn't shit, he was cheating.

All in all a good result in the circumstances but we deserved 3 points.

I did try my hardest for "only one Bryan Robson" when the "only one neil warnock" chants came out.

Some twat in front of me on Kop was doing my head in though, blaming everything on Robbo

Fantastic review Daz,

Morgan was atrocious last night.

For me Kenny only seems to come alive for us when we are losing, he seems to be more willing to come clear up at the back when we are down.

Armstrong did well, with a fantastic goal. Bromby at fault for their first. Penalty for 2nd, and the 3rd well..... for some reason Stead had a free kick against him when he got the ball with a header, long punt up front, slack defending 3-1.

All 3 goals from us tonight was very well taken.

Cahill played well, always looked like he wanted us to get playing football. Quinny for me was excellent, willing to run at the men again.

Tonge inept. Keef did 2 good things before going off. Carneys corners were a damn sight better. Beattie and Stead did very well up front, ESPECIALLY Stead, he was fantastic all game.

Shelton was fantastic when he came on, sharp was ineffective and seems to be trying too hard. and Hendrie was a lot better than the other day.

A game we should have won, but sadly didn't. The ref may have been crap, but his bad decisions was only directly involved in one of their goals.

Oh, and I think Robbo is a very lucky man the ref was so crap. It stopped all the chants coming at him and everything being directed at the ref. It also got all the blades in unity for I think the first time this season.

I can't really agree there, Robbie. I think the performance last night was light-years ahead of Saturday and we did more than enough to win the game.
Although crap refereeing doesn't usually cost us games, it really did last night. If we'd have had a better referee we would have won and there'd be no reason to boo and chant at Robbo.

At the point when it was 2-1 and the ref hadn't done that much wrong, people was starting to do the chants against Robbo....

The performance when we had the ball was a lot better and there was a lot more effort. When we're defending it was just as bad, maybe even worse than Saturday.

But yes, the chants had started against Robbo, and when Cardiff fans were singing "You're getting sacked in the morning" a lot of the Kop joined in.
I agree that he was lucky that the ref took most of the heat.

He should have given us a penalty for the foul (by 2 players at once) on Stead.

Oh and when they kicked the ball out when they already had a free kick and a player off the pitch getting a cut seen to, he did f'all to speed them up or get them actually not wasting time.

Wasn't the Stead incident in the second half?

The second one will always happen with all referees.

If you don't believe the stick the ref has took the heat off Robbo, then you are disullusioned

There was one in each half on Stead. If the rules would have been followed to the letter we would have had 2 pens for fouls on Stead and 4 for handball's. And the backpass incident too.

i don't think we should have been chanting for Robson out anyway, such an improvement on saturday, but again our defending let us down. Morgan and Bromby were awful, Quinn was brilliant in midfield alongside a Tongey who is fastly getting shitter and shitter. Stead and Beattie were excellent never gave it up. I thought Sharp and Shelton were good when they came on.

If we could defend we probably would be near top of league cos we aint got a problem scoring. Armstrongs goal was a beauty, lovely strike after he set himself well.

But the chanting towards Robson is so uncalled for, i mean it turned our fans on themselves last night. I saw fans hurling abuse with hands and mouth last night. But still a much improved performance, gives me confidence for Saturday. UTB

Whereabouts are you guys on the kop then?
I think I was blaming everything on Bambi...I mean Bromby ;)

thought we played well last night and were far the better teambut wanky reffing decisions cost us points.

I think that's my point, fair play Robbie the ref may have taken the heat but if Robson did get booed last night I'd have been very disappointed in the fans. On Saturday however, we were useless and Robson didn't seem to have a clue how to get his players going again so I could fully understand (but not condone) the booing.

Sat in front of a couple who wanted 'Robson Out' when 3-1 down last night. They got a bit 'angry' when I remarked that Robson can only do so much and that its not his fault we are conceding some of the goals we are conceding at the moment - its laughable really. Even funnier was that they were the same people who left with half an hour to go when we conceded the third...what a shame that they missed the comeback...

Yeah i know, it wasn't too bad of a performance thoroughout last night so there was no need to get angry as they were doing. Admittidly it was disappointing when we were losing 3-1 but it just seemed as though they were only there for one thing last night and it wasn't to support the team

i hear that sort all time fortunately it's only a small idiotic minority that does it. They should just fuck off or support their side

Opinion from another less popular forum
Billy Sharp looks a great player, his movement and strength on the ball put Stead to shame yesterday.

I'd start with Sharp and Beattie everytime.
Thats got to be one of the biggest load of crap i've seen written for a while, Stead has been among our top players this season, while Sharp has yet to put in a proper quality performance.
