Great result for blades and 2 cracking goals for Moore, big praise for Brewster I'm not his biggest fan but I thought he was excellent when he came on. Looked hungry for a change and showed good strength.

A fairly comfortable afternoon to be honest. 1st half wasn’t the best but we controlled it for the most part.
2nd half was a vast improvement against a battling but quite poor Cardiff side. Willock aside I don’t think they troubled us at all.
JRS does concern with with how poor he has been recently. I get the double marking etc but his decision making, passing and general work rate are average at best.
Not sure why Brooks isn’t getting a go.

just going to ignore that i complimented his second half to feel superior then yeah? He had a poor first half and a great second half. I also never said he's rubbish i just thought there's lines behind the defence that Brewster could exploit, which Wilder also agreed with or he wouldn't have brought him on for Rak-Sakyi (the other player i thought was having a poor half)
Some cannot wait to say how poor our players are and if not firing on all cylinders they are labelled with that comment. Anyway, when has Brewster exploited beyond the lines of defence. 😉

Just can't understand why calling the game in progress as you see it , giving praise where due and pointing out things which could be better , should be called "pissing the bed".
It's like some people can't bear to have anything said with which they disagree.
Because a game is 90+ minutes. I'd much rather a decent second half than a first.
Actually, I'd RATHER have a decent 90 minutes, but life's not like that.
So, instead of having a go at the players early on wait and see what happens.

Solid away performance, and fair play to KM,i've not been his biggest fan,but big 3 points with a tough set of games coming up.

I didn't say he's a poor player though did i? I said he's had a poor half and a great second half. Did you watch the second half, because Brewster made some good runs and passes to expliot their defence. I call the game as i see it which is what the match day thread is for, then no matter how we perform if we gain 3 points i celebrate it. You're just here to bring up comments in retrospect to moan about our fanbase instead of celebrating the win.

I don't like incessant criticism of individual players but I do think it's fair to look for general improvement when the tactics don't seem to be working.
But only if you are prepared to suggest how such improvement could be made.

Yes,I was there. Still am. And, our fan base is generally excellent and yes we have some right nobheads who like to moan and play football manager,I usually watch the whole match then judge.

If you don't like people giving their opinions throughout the match and 'playing football manager' why come to the match day thread, especially if you're at the game as you claim? Someone asked at half time what substitutions we should make, i gave my opinion based on the first half where we had zero shots on target, that makes me a knobhead? If anyone is moaning it's you, i gave my opinions throughout the match, you've insinuated Brewster is shit even though he had a good game, and calling fans knobheads for giving their opinion.

I give up. End of.

Moore's first, when under imense pressure from the two defenders, was a thing of footballing quality. We don't have anyone else in our squad who has the technique or skill/strength to pull that off. Great signing Chris. And yeah, I admit, there's been times I never dreamt I'd say that. This team just keeps giving. Long may it last.

With the benefit of hindsight, it seems that Wilder picked the best side for the job, from those available to him and two great goals from Moore sealed the points.

I had my doubts about Moore, even with his contribution to the game, but no real goals scored. He certainly put that right tonight.

Rak Saki will continue to confound supporters, but given his age and experience, we could probably do no better. He does represent our only serious threat as a pacy dribbler, and this is reflected in the respect and marking attention he gets from opposition sides. Why break a new one in when he is doing ok, and he does create space for others.

Wilder is doing very well with his holistic approach to starters and substitutions. It’s a long season and players will get injuries and they will tire. He seems to be doing a very effective job, with what he has available, and still protecting his squad from injury and fatigue. Comments about Brookes lack of game time may be indications of a fall out with Wilder expecting more from him in training. That could be just a journo clickbait rumour, or there might be some truth in it?

Not disappointed with his starting line up, as I suspect and hope Wilder is playing games with the opposition, and keeping Anel and Souza under wraps for future games, or giving injuries more time to heal or both.

Delighted with the result and the league position.

Unfortunately seems Moore is injured and if you see the club highlights at full time he's clearly feeling something

^ I wouldn’t be surprised by that, just annnoyed. Normally he would want to stay on if he’s on a chance of a hat trick. I followed the game on live commentary, and I was irked to notice him subbed off after the second goal.
Senior pros can be more succeptible to these niggles and he’s just back from a spell out too. I hope he’s ok.

I did see him earlier in the season when his cut inside was a success but its all he has and teams have sussed that now. Gilchrist has been exposed to 2 on 1 so many times because he rarely tracks back with any purpose. That criticism then works both ways. That said, Gilchrist isn't a natural LWB and I doubt it is in his footballing DNA to be overlapping as maybe we have become used to. But, hey ho, 3 points.
Yeah. Gilchrist does what he is instructed to. If he starts overlapping we will get exposed in defence, so no blame on him. If you look at the others side, with Hamer and Burrows, their RB dont follow Hamer that close, because that would leave big gaps for Burrows to attack into. Its a big difference between Hamer and JRS movement also. Where Hamer drop deep and tries killer passes, JRS is expected to run at the defence. Something he is not doing so good right now. Anyway, having him on the pitch does something with the opposition. The whole team dynamic just works with this setup, as we have seen with the results lately.

Plus ca change.
They are shocking at the back as we saw two years ago.
But we sit pissing about in our own half under #ChrissieWilderTacticalImbecile
Jesus has had three occassions (forward backwards still a liability) were he has not had 4 on him and caused havoc.
GET HIM ON THE LEFT.
Burrows is too slow to beat anybody as we saw with Bogle at Leeds slaughtering him.
OHare
FFS
Great chance right in front of goal <25 yards out.
Does he shoot on run closer and shoot - does he ****. Complex five yard pass and ****s it up.
Done F all AGAIN.
One goal every 10 games - here and career - does NOT a team fixture make for an alleged number 10
They're back out.

There were a few minutes were I would have settled for a draw but two great goals saw us win.
A bit like every week.
Player quality despite Wilder see us win through.
Moore had one cross from Jesus first half apart from that bog standard cross from Gilchrist and tackle by Davis.
ie F ALL service.
Why does McCallum get to play on the left but attackers Jesus and Brooks (he must have criticized OHare to upset Wilder so much) have to be played totally out of position on the right.
Even he (MC) is get good balls in the box last game and one this as a defender basically.
Ah well.
Now to worry about the shysters taking over and the imbecile managers transfer dealings - as always.
