Because the cutoff is 37 games, after that the threshold for a ban rises to 15Why next 2 games and not the next one?
Another silly booking yesterday for Anel (time wasting). If he avoids a booking on Saturday, there's probably a case for resting him against Bristol.Anel now on 9 - so if he gets another booking in next 2 games he’s banned for 2 matches.
Hope all has gone well for you. Anel has to play, I don't care if it's them coming up, in the long scheme of things, these 2 home games are absolutely huge opportunities for 3 points.Updated following Game 35 - QPR (A)
I've only seen highlights, so can't comment on much, just the facts. Anel picked up his 9th yellow, so 1 more in the next 2 games and he will pick up a 2-match suspension. It'll be interesting to see if he plays both of the next two.
Choudhury and BBD both picked up a yellow, too.....so.....
Players:

- Up to and including 37 games played by SUFC
- Players who have received 10 yellow cards will be suspended for 2 games
- Up to and including 46 games played by SUFC
- Players who have received 15 yellow cards will be suspended for 3 games
- Players who have received 20 yellow cards will have a regulatory commission determine their punishment
- In the EFL Championship Playoffs
- Any suspensions received in the 46-game regular season will carry over into the playoffs, including the final. So if a player receives their 15th yellow in game 45, they would miss game 46 and both playoff semis
- No yellows received in the playoffs contribute to a suspension. So if a player receives their 15th yellow in the first playoff semi, they would not be suspended because of it
- Red cards received in the playoffs still result in a suspension

- At any point in the season
- Managers who have received 3 yellow cards will be suspended for 1 game
- Managers who have received 8 yellow cards will be suspended for 2 games
- Managers who have received 20 yellow cards will have a regulatory commission determine their punishment
No, we need a strong team against Bristol CityAnother silly booking yesterday for Anel (time wasting). If he avoids a booking on Saturday, there's probably a case for resting him against Bristol.

It's worth remembering with Anel, that he has already served 4 games of suspensions. 1 game for his 5 yellows, and 3 games for his straight red. I'd be really disappointed in him if he managed to get another one soon, and get a 2-match ban. Players in top teams shouldn't need to be taking too many yellows, IMO. If they do, it shows a flaw in their game, a lack of intelligence, or indeed their lack of emotional control.
Lack of intelligence, with a few of our players. It's worth remembering with Anel, that he has already served 4 games of suspensions. 1 game for his 5 yellows, and 3 games for his straight red. Not thick at all. That's spot onI know I'm being a bit thick, but am I correct in saying, that after game 37 a player has to get 15 yellows to be suspended for 3 games? If for instance Anel is still on 9 yellows after Tuesday's game, he wouldn't be suspended for 2 matches if he got booked v pigs on Sunday?

I would also make that call. It also gives Anel a bit of a rest and gives Holding some much needed minutes.Drop Anel for Holding on Tuesday. Self impose a one game ban to ensure he doesn’t get a two game ban. We’ll need him for Pigs and Coventry.
If he gets booked 7 times in the next 10 games then he will get a 3 match banWith Vini not getting booked vs Preston does that mean he’s now unable to get a 2 game ban?
No no and thrice no. Play your strongest (available) team at all times.I would also make that call. It also gives Anel a bit of a rest and gives Holding some much needed minutes.
If CW can't trust Holding to come in, why have we signed him?
Until the last game of the regular season mate, so it's all 9 games. If we made playoffs and he gets his 15th yellow in game 46, he would be suspended for all the playoff gamesBasically Hamer got to avoid 4 yellows in the next 6 games for a 3 match suspension.
Yeah I was meaning if we got top 2 then after 6 games he wouldn't be missing for 3 games etc.Until the last game of the regular season mate, so it's all 9 games. If we made playoffs and he gets his 15th yellow in game 46, he would be suspended for all the playoff games
Souza, Robinson and Peck won't play more than 7 games now until the end of the season I don't think so they aren't a worry.
