At the end of the day it was a hard fought win with a weakened line...i mean a left back playing in midfield,so just happy with the 3 points.
Cooper did ok for me,Anel was the pick of the back line...Peck did well, although he looked tired at times, but kept going until the end...Happy for Brewster getting a good goal, and he had a decent game.
Good to see Campbell back, looked a danger...Sericki mafe a real impact again.
Yeah,RND had a bit of a nightmare apart from a good run and cross which nobody got near in the first half.

Good report as always DB ,
The first half without doubt was “ the “ worst half of football those season
The second half , when players were in there correct positions, getting a bit pace & space out wide really turned the game as most watching thought it would do and in the end we ran out fairly comfortable winners
I won’t be to overly critical of the young lads
Brooks - Peck , who with better options may be out on loan already and learning there trade elsewhere , so there form will go up and down, at there age it’s to be expected , we do need depth in midfield and at the back , and with a few bodies (5) rumoured to becoming in I think our team and squad with look and feel like it has depth
I feel for RND , he’d just come back from a bad injury , started for us last season at Luton and broke down again ( literally at the time ) I hope it’s just a question of confidence and not ability although it does look like the latter unfortunately
Brewster with attacking options becoming available to us , might have to justify his price tag to get games now , first 2 years I was hoping it’d come good for the kid and he’d kick on but I’ve lost faith in him and if he goes on a bit of a run now maybe I could change my mind , he maybe a good kid
But standing on town hall balcony and giving stick to Bannon might be enjoyable but it’s not what you got bought for
This and a win on Friday could see us open up a bigger gap between us and Sunlad / Burnley especially with Burnalee playing Leeds on Monday

Finally, congrats to Swansea for having shots on target against us and actually trying to attack. It's been a long time since we saw that from them.

Can't help thinking this contributed to our pathetic first half. Suspect the players/management were as dumbfounded as I was to see them come out and want to play the game in our half, first time they've done that against us in years!
I sat back expecting a repeat of Saturday and was mortified they'd decided to try and beat us instead of bore us to into submission.

Maybe a little harsh on our centre halves, who had absolutely no protection from midfield, or from our full backs, who were bad - they were completely shafted.

We should have changed things up after no more than 20 mins into the game, as it was clearly not working. Why couldn't Wilder have moved Burrows to left wing, and Hamer central??
