Just been listening to football heaven and Wendy were in great form tonight. Some of the quotes included
"Wednesday easily have the best squad in the championship"
"United are just a jumped up third tier team who haven't achieved anything in last 10 years"

I wasn't aware they have been world beaters in the last decade?
If sharp and Donaldson play then confident we'll turn them over
Utb

For Wendies, most money spunked = best squad.

They'd still say they had the better squad if they were playing Man City and their squad consisted of a 3 legged donkey they bought for £2 billion and a pine cone they got for a steal at £500 million.

Not saying it's going to be easy, but they're going to get a shock even if we lose.

Besides, if we lose, we're together as a club, fans manager players, we'll move on together, if they lose they'll all get their knickers in a twist and probably call for Milky Carlos to get sacked.

They will start as favourites, thats fair enough but for Christ's sake some of em really do think they are some sort of world beaters, almost as important as the result for me is our performance, I really hope we play to our strengths, I think we will.

Oooh goodie! Another obsessive thread about Sheffield Wednesday.
Quite right. Talking about our biggest rivals who we face next match in the first Steel City Derby for five years just won't do.

What shall we talk about though? It is a difficult one admittedly. This is a football forum to discuss all things United, such as next match, our chances, the opposition.

Hang on a minute...

It's nerves. They are trying to convince themselves that they will win because they have the better players on paper. We are the Rocky to their Drago.

First class lounges at airports?

Wtf have they achieved in the last 10 years? A promotion from league one & a play off final.
Blades - 2 play off finals, 2 cup semi finals and a league title with 100 points and 90+ goals.

It's strange how some think they have achieved more in the last 10 years when between us we have both won promotion from League One and that's it.

They've had 3 decent seasons in the last 17 and in two of those they finished lower than the position that we did under Blackwell which is hardly a season we get excited about.

Well when you put it like that...

I just don't know where they get the sense of entitlement from, I really don't. There are now kids in college who have never seen them play PL football. Their entire childhoods filled with tales of bygone eras.

It's embarrassing.

All the while they get told they have the upper hand despite United playing against the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo at Bramall Lane and winning a title with 100 points.

It's incredible how little knowledge they seem to have of any other team besides their own.

Generally we might expect to beat teams at BL but people on here are aware of opposition players and the other team's general style of play.

But the pigs seem to have literally no idea who our players are or how we play. One of them said on Twitter today that we would be parking the bus and hoping for a 0-0 on Sunday. We scored 100 goals last season

Bryan Robson alert :D:D

On their preparations for the derby, Carvalhal said: “It will be a normal week like we have done in the past. It [United] is the next game that we play in the competition.

this makes me sort of confident. as we go in as big underdog as there is a big gulf in both spendings wages & transfers. but there manager is in his 1st ever English derby & we all know how well that went brian laws v bryan Robson. how our manager has grown up with this & our players Will be massively prepared as will drilled into the players every day what is expected & got them motivated. so that when they are going on that pitch they ready to run through a brick wall
