He may have expressed a desire to go but we were happy to negotiate too as we needed more fees inwards.

He had 2 years left so we could easily have waited till next summer if we fancied.

Don't think this deal was all down to the player.

In fact all three big sales this summer I reckon went a similar direction.
"X club have bid. It's not quite enough but nearly is for our valuation. We will sell as we need to if it's X amount".

Messi is the greatest player in the history of the game. He's not really a fair comparator.

O'Hare isn't exceptional at Championship level, let alone PL. Coventry got promoted after replacing the 5'9" O'Hare with 6'1" Jack Rudoni.
Was he wearing platform soles to reach 5'9" ?

Nowt against Callum. He was a 90 minuter, injury free and tricky. Disappointed he chose to further his career with a team lower down the table but there you go. I hope he doesn't get booed but if Japhet and co tip him on his arse a couple of times then that will be okay.
I think if we were playing Wrexham Friday, then Coventry in cup next weekend, Hamer should be applauded and O'Hare booed.

One went to PL expecting 1st team games.
One joined Phil Parkinson and Disney.

"Wrexham AFC has received approximately £18 million in non-repayable public/taxpayer-funded grants through Wrexham County Borough Council and a Welsh Government regeneration fund to help finance the new Kop stand and surrounding infrastructure at the Racecourse Ground."

That's more annoying to me.
The piggies will be all over this, begging bowl out for anything they can scrounge.

Just wanted to be on the telly. Don’t blame him. Could end up in Hollywood as the new Corey Haim (Ask yer mum).

How does a club manage to be that incompetent and get away with it...

I can only assume that because Wrexham gained no points in breaking the rules no points were deducted. If O'Hare had gotten onto the pitch as a sub and because Wrexham won the game, a deduction would have happend. Still wrong though a palrty fine as a deterant but who has sanctioned the player to take part without a work permit!

Imagine as a small business employing someone and starting them before their work permit arrives you'd be in court

Just boiled my piss a little that both him and Bogle have said they’ve moved to big clubs. OK, we aren’t Manchester United but I found the comments a little disrespectful. Saying that, never faulted both’s workrate and application when they played for us.

I don' think there's any denying that Leeds are a significantly bigger club than us.

In fairness to Bogle. Leeds is a bigger club than us. Seem to be steadying themselves in the Prem and soon to have a 55,000 capacity Elland Road.

They are what Wednesday fans think they are right now. Just without the league status or ground.
