Don't think it's worth having a hidden agenda over Simon Moore anyway.

He's not a Premier League keeper, I don't hide that opinion, and I don't think I'm alone in having it.

Nice bloke though and great in league one.

I think he'd do a reasonable job in the Championship too but we need better for the Prem. Not sure why the Henderson deal is taking so long, its not ideal not having him with us but hopefully he'll be with us soon enough.

We’ve come up against tough opposition tonight. Not an easy ground to go to.

We move on

We need strikers and quick...they need to have a few weeks with the team or it will be a struggle from the off, which we can’t afford as the first few games are the ones we need to be getting results from.

Also it was one person from what I've seen (me) and I was questioning whether to question Moore.

Northampton on Saturday,a mediocre Championship side won 4-0 down there tonite,we should be able to double that scoreline we are Premier League,it dont work like that tho does it in pre season its all about getting fit.

Worrying thought as pre season games evolve is the use of certain players (Stearman,Lundstram,Bryan,Slater, etc) that are getting game time, who will be no use or ornament to a Prem side with any intention of remaining one,why is this happening, are we getting quality replacements for them.

Bryan was our best player first half tonight!

Ta for the info WORKSOPBLADE thought he looked really slow against Betis, only other game i have seen him play was the Barnet cup game and he were'nt v/good in that he were'nt on his own in that game tho.

Can we see any of those players ^^^ being used in the Prem fully.

Agreed about previous two games. Him and maybe Lunny in prem. No others.

Positves tonight. 15 mins of Robinson and he looks quality. Sharp scored. L Freeman looks like he will become key and offers something different from corners. Dissy still looks class. Leon will have been in the shop window and actually caused them lots of problems. Everyone else looked off the pace, except Jack and Moore was blameless for the goals.

Wonder if we'll play something more like a starting line up for Bournemouth in the coming games. Surely you need to get them playing together.

Decent report to be fair from the Burton side and they seem quite complimentary on our performance, certainly the start.

No cause for panic and good to hear the new lads doing well. We all know we're still two or three starting players short of where we want to be. I'm surprised we played Burton tonight who are the best of the first three teams we play - Northampton then Chessie after that.

I wouldn't be surprised if most of that team start against Bournemouth.

Wilder praising Lunny and Didzy in particular. Did say a few were off the pace though. Certainly not as angry as some suggested he might be

Not great.

Showed bits of quality but I would've expected us to show more. Lot of poor final balls.

Didn't deserve to lose but certainly can't complain at not winning.

No injuries obvious though and good minutes for a number of players.

Freeman didn't make too much of an impact and looks to be feeling his way into this team and this setup.

Robinson was a breath of fresh air. It was like introducing a Ferrari to a field of Fiestas. I actually saw a Sheffield United player dribble past defenders at pace! He very nearly won us the game and was unlucky on at least 3 occasions including a blocked goalbound shot 6 yards out and a squared ball to him narrowly being cut out.

Clough being the pathetic manager he is staggered his subs as much as possible to waste time and get a draw..... and was rewarded with a late win.

And Brayford..... wearing really short shorts to expose his leg tattoo. What a twat.

Nice road works and diversion on the way back too which is always fantastic and cemented the great decision to attend.

i thought we played better friday to be honest. burton had some good chances to score

Yeah, the majority will, but together, not in two halves.

Need to play our backline, and a midfield with Norwood, Fleck, and a 10 and two strikers we're keeping.

Can make subs, but let's get the team together first instead of sticking Bryan, Stearman, Lundstram and Clarke in it. The first 3 will no doubt have a part to play though.
