That’s what you get from (to be honest) a budget team of good L1, average championship and doubtful PL loaners. Chuck in walk away 1980’s management WilderWang selections and tactics and the owners know what they’ve bought.

All depends if they’ve got
1. Experienced advisors
2. The Munneh
3. The bottle to deep clean the old SUFC from top to bottom
4. A Plan for a modern progressive club
Couldn't agree more and definitely need someone more experienced at the top level and forward thinking than Bettis "The Accountant".

I didn't watch today. I had no desire to watch our top 2 aspirations finally evaporate, after watching us throw control of the title away in the space of 3 games.

Our pragmatic approach has proven to be our downfall, at least as far as automatic promotion is concerned. I feel like we would have been a much bigger threat to at least Burnley (and possibly Leeds too) if we had played in a more dynamic manner than we have. If we'd won our matches vs the top 2, rather than losing all 4, we'd be 4 points clear of both right now. I know there's other games (especially recently) that we've let ourselves down in, but we've lost every game against the 2 teams who are now confirmed to be in the PL next season. Not rocket science to figure out where we should have done better.

I'll cheer us on through the playoffs, and I'd love to see us finally break the losing habit there, but as many have already said (myself included), I think once the season is over, it's time for the club and Wilder to part ways.

I couldn't agree more with this post spot on an absolute throw away chance if united don't do play offs

If you ignore half the Burnley team.
He was immense, all over the pitch and ran the game for us. You might argue that they had several contributing to the team effort but thats a different argument …….

Bang on. Bettis "the accountant has milked his position " for years with weak people at the top never challenging him. It is just as imperative that the new owners kick him into touch just as much as wilder. On the same day would be just perfect.

It also begs the question, if we can't beat the two teams above us in the Championship over two legs, then what chance would we have of beating anyone in the Premier League?

Think the assumption would be that most players are shipped out- we have new owners who hopefully have ambition. If we want to stay in the prem- most of our squad have to leave and another massive rebuild is on the cards. Stay with this squad and make a few additions and we are relegation fodder. Great chance for owners to spend the promotion money and then some of theirs- where do we want to be ? What the owners spend will speak volumes as to the long term direction and ambition they have.

Just got back in. Wasn't staying around for their promotion at our expense party.

A decent effort this evening but left reflecting how many games we have won or lost by 1 goal - could have been a very different season.

Thought Gus covered a lot of ground and what a cracking goal to get Cannon off the mark.

For all the people praising Burnley, if you want to watch a team like that week in week out, I really am amazed.
Look at how excited their fans get about it. On the brink of promotion and quiet all game. Only sang when they scored and last five minutes. With their players waving them to sing up. Dross, they can keep it.

Brownhill knows how to be the orchestra of midfield and also the orchestra of the referee. Reminds me very much of how Gary McAllister was.

Looking on the bright side, Burnley only require one more point to make people finally shut the fuck up about the 2 point deduction.
"People" here being the manager? I would hope that he'll drop that charade now, along with counting our wins when we've lost nearly twice as many games as Burnley and Leeds combined.

The expression of the bloke on the right looks like he is just about to knock the living daylights out of wilder
