Brilliant news. To be honest, even if Kenny were to be able to play again this season, I'd rather have Bunn in the team ahead of him. Admittedly with our defence infront of him he hasn't had loads to do so far, but he looks solid. I know he often just punches crosses rather than catches them, but it normally does get the ball clear, and he looks a good shot stopper too.

Excellent news. Looks a great prospect as he gets more experience and he is clearly delighted to be at t'Lane. Love his pre-match routine when he jogs across his area to applaud both sides of the ground and his pumped fist when he made his Lane debut against Watford.

Has made some good stops so far, looks confident enough to come for crosses (yes, he will miss some but I prefer that to standing on the line like a sack of potatoes like Paddy does) and his kicking ability (the length for one) suits our away style of play perfectly. Glad to see him staying and whatever happens to Kenny, I'm starting to believe that Bunny should be our long term goalkeeper if we can get Rovers to let him go.

How has this been worked out, I thought the only options were 1 month, 3 or season long ? Or, does this come under the 'emergency loans' for keepers, and as such isn't subject to the same rules ?

Would love him permanent too.

Its good of Blackburn though to loan 2 Quality players (Bunn and Treacy) to United

Micalijo will be delighted :D

Not seen Bunn tested enough yet to form an opinion about him.

Thought Leicester's 'keeper was superb the other night, the best I've seen for a while. Came for, and claimed, every single cross.

Yes I'm absolutely thrilled to have signed Bunn, he will add that composure and above all physical presence that we have lacked for a while between the sticks. I think he looks poor on crosses and very lucky versus Watford but everyone has an opinion.

Seriously though I don't want it to sound like I am criticising for the sake of it - it is just a personal preference for taller keeper - taller than 6 foot. On another thread it is mentioned that Bennet, Trace and Kenny are same as Bunn - maybe so but I don't think any of them were tall enough although seeing Tracey regularly now it cannot be said he lacks physical presence!

Leicester keeper was a prime example of what I think a keeper should be like stature wise. Obviously there is a minimum level of ability needed with a tall keeper (it is not as easy as signing the tallest keeper available) and Bunn seems to have that ability in most departments. I like his attitude and he is bang up for it but sorry he aint for me long term.

If you remember though, most of our crosses went straight down his throat.
No skill required.
