So it turns out that I will remember Burrow’s winner for the rest of my life…

My Dad passed away yesterday and the last communication we had was excited text messages about the goal.

My Dad was a lifelong Blade and always loved telling stories about the good old days when he had a few pints and played darts with TC and the team in the Castle Inn in Bradway.

He got me my first season ticket at the age of 6 in 1979. Through the good times and mainly mainly the bad times (this is the way!) United were the constant in our relationship.

I will always think of him after games and will miss his grumpy messages when he wasn’t happy with how things were going.

Sorry for your loss, but what great memories to treasure between a father and son. All the best during this difficult time⚔️

Sorry about your loss mate. I’m glad you’re last communication with him was at least a positive one!

Sorry to hear this mate. At least you had normal chatter so close up to him going. Best wishes to you all, and enjoy Sunday for him whatever happens.
