It was definitely a foul, but not a foul so severe that O'Hare had to go down. A quick shake of the hand and he was free and clean through, either that or the defender has to bring him down.
It worked out well in the end so it doesn't really matter, but a player should be taking the option of going through to score rather than going down after miniscule contact in the last few seconds of a game.

I get Geordie Blade's point, he was knackered and perhaps didn't have the physical strength to get free

Agree, overall we were slightly the better side. So the best team on the night (us) did win.
However I'd say a draw would have been the fairer result and pre match I'd have been happy with a draw.
4 points from 2 tricky away games at Blackburn and Bristol City would have been a great return.

Think tonight was Karma from the football Gods.
The EFL took 2 points off us, so the football Gods decided this was unfair and gave us our 2 points back.

People have rightly raved about the way Burrows finished his chance but we shouldn't forget the brilliant pass from Arblaster.

Also where is Astonblade1 after this fanatic win......funny how he only turns up after a defeat and when we win, goes into hiding.

Because it wasn't a trip, kick or definite wrestle to the ground.
He grabbed at his hand and held onto it for a second.

Enough to interfere with O'Hare's stride, so it is a foul.
But not a foul enough to make O'Hare fall down. With the goal gaping at him in the last few seconds of a game his first thought should have been to get free from the minimal contact and banging it into the net, he could never have known how things would turn out a minute or two later and should have made sure
 
Blaster pass for the winner made up for the shocker pass he made when he should have slid Saki I think it was in and badly over hit it.
But he’d not been on long so it happens.
 
Who was co-commentator on RS? Sounded like they’d just been in the away end and grabbed a random bloke out.

Excuse my French and not a dig at you but fuck “fair”. Not the greatest game until the goals but ground it out and showed quality at the end.
Wilder deserves credit tonight.
 
To get these two away wins is brilliant, I would have been happy with two draws to be honest, let's hope it continues 😀
 

i dont know how we did that. we were fortunate tonight i was glad for the point in stoppage time. i just wanted to leave unscathed & have our strongest team available for sunday. moore injury & 1-1 was damage limitation

i just it wish didnt take til going 1-0 down. to play with the intensity & tempo that we played in the final 20mins

My only concern is that my Canadian betting app wouldn’t allow me to place a wager on 3 wins while I was over 😕 (seems to be one of the few industries that can outdo the VPNs). Guess I should have placed it while in Canada…..
 
poor performance, great result. Had all the hallmarks of a crap midweek draw, so great to get 3 points.

Strange performance that one which is similar to what i have seen in the past on occasion. Having Not being in the game in any capacity ( (just a fan)it is hard to understand why this happens and nicked it in the end.Howard Wilkinson former pigs manager and highly respected coach commented on this after an away defeat when they had a good team .
Very difficult to pin down the reason for such no show matches ! he couldn't fathom it so it seems it is something that happens to turn the players off when everything is to play for..
No doubt we got out of jail with a late flurry of something which had been missing all match. No doubt we perked up after going behind and did we deserve to win having that 15 minute cameo ! I think we did.
Is that missing link "Attitude" as we were the team who wanted it at that stage.Like watching paint dry for 75 minutes ! Great rare ending to the game.

Karma it is.
Tonight I will forget about the deduction for the rest of the season.
We are on 2 points per game and the only direction in which to look is forward
 
Just got home. Well worth the time off work and long train journey (and the hangover I’m now nursing!).

Good for us to get a couple of late goals. We’ve struggled scoring later on in games this season, so hopefully this can be a bit of a boost for if we are in similar situations later in the season.
