After leeds and boro i was pissed off with wilder blowing smoke up there arses, after how he has shown teams respect but not fear in the last two games,im not too worried , we may lose but as long as we try front foot football ill be happy. Bristol are on a good run and will be dangerous but if we bring our A game im hopefull

From what I’ve seen of Bristol City there’s nothing to really worry us. They’re just on a decent run of 3/4 games that’s all, which we will put to an end on Tuesday night.

Utd will win on Tuesday - i will stake N Janks` reputation on it

I’m in the country for the Blackburn, Bristol and piggie games and whenever I’m over, mates call me The Messiah. This comes from our winless run in the Prem (or was it even called the old First Division 🤔) many years ago (I forget the season) and I arrived at Xmas and we beat Forest at home, Luton away and got another couple of decent results that escape me. And we stayed up.
I shall be at Bristol… (and the piggy game, of course)

I just hope that Bristol City don’t choose this game to confirm their inconsistency, and playreally well this time out.

Can see Wilder possibly resting Rak-Sakyi for the derby and starting Brooks instead. He got kicked around the park by Blackburn and the thought of Rak-Sakyi up against Max Lowe is mouthwatering!

Other than that, Anel comes back for JLT and I would be tempted to leave Hamer on the bench again giving him 20 minutes as sub, he should then be fresh as a daisy for the derby. Moore appears to be finding his feet so let him keep gaining confidence and it's then a toss of a coin between Brewster & Campbell alongside him with one replacing the other after the usual 60 mins.

Hopefully another solid display against Bristol City to maintain the momentum and a point at least coming back up the motorway.

yeah tough game and brizzle are on a good run having said that pigs held em 0 - 0 other week so dont think weve anything to fear hope wilder goes there to attack them point would be a decent result but think we might just nick it 1 - 0

Been browsing their forum. Cocky bastards. I hope we absolutely smash them. I’ve never had any feelings towards them before as I see them as a bit of a nothing. Hope to be singing the boys to victory tomorrow and giving plenty to the home end 🤫

For those traveling, we have to give it the old “handball” every time Yu touches the ball, surely? 🤣

Said 4 points from these two tricky looking away games would be a decent return and I stand by that.

Team selection ?
Despite Robbo's excellent display on Saturday I reckon Anel will return - but it's very encouraging to know that we have a fit & firing sub CB.
The rest of the back six picks itself.
The big decisions involve the front four.
Imo , despite having seen a lot of success from 3 AMFs behind Moore , I do believe that Moore has done better and the team has looked more dangerous with 2 strikers.
If that is kept , I can't see CW ever playing both our wingers , so 3 of the 4 are going to be Moore , Campbell and JRS or Brooks.
Leaving one remaining player to be an AMF who can also defend.
It's a pity that neither Hamer nor O'Hare are Lfooted because CW seems to prefer our winger on the R flank , consigning the other AMF to the L flank on his "wrong" foot.
My personal preference would be the opposite , or at least for our winger to alternate flanks during the game , giving the Rfooted AMF some time down the R - but of course I'm just a fan not a coach.
The choice for the "other" AMF seems to be O'Hare or Hamer.
Hamer gets my vote as he carries more goal threat and is less easily brushed off the ball.
Having picked a first eleven , I have to mention Brooks - he has improved significantly since last season and I would always be looking to get him on for 20-30 minutes to keep him match-sharp.
He might not have quite the attacking threat of JRS but he defends better when required.

A 1 0 win v QPR on New Year's day.
1990 91. Div 1.

Mate of mine is a Robins season ticket holder and says they’re very unpredictable, Slowly finding a rhythm.
He can’t go as he’s got a local PC meeting.
The last time I went with him another ST spent all match telling me how dirty Chris Morgan was, though he wasn’t even playing.

Where do people normally drink near the ground? I'm working in Guildford so driving over for the match
Bristol Beer Factory’s tap near the ground looks good if you’re into craft beers.

May be heading there myself, depending on how it goes in the city centre.

Really tough game 0-0 or a narrow 1-0 defeat.
Wilder will tinker having one eye on Sunday.

Sounds good, I think I ended up there last time.

I'm going for a birthday busting 3-1 to the blades, Moore, hamer and soutter to score
