It is possible to win the ball by methods other than tackling you know
 
Why do we continue to be play this defensive crap away from home? Surely by now Hecky must’ve realised it will just end in defeat like every other away match.

Have a fucking go! I’m sick of us playing like we’re a League One team away at a Premier League club! It’s fucking embarrassing!
 
I’m trying to be positive but that style of play, lack of aggression, 10 behind the ball, and a lack of movement by all is really depressing.

I’m not a Hecky bashed but something is fundamentally wrong when we put this sort of performance together. There is such a lack of passion in our team toddy that you can only ask ‘why?’.

Hopefully some fireworks up the rectum at half time will bring something out of the team in the second half…

Surely we've been keeping it tight with the obvious plan of hitting Archer and McAtee (later Osula) in the channels second half.

Come on you Blades.
 
Hecky never seems to be proactive? everyone can see it’s a shambles but no one does anything to change anything, Archer and Maca’ are too far-apart! we have a packed midfield, but don’t track the Brighton off the ball runs. and yet again no changes at half time, Hecky must thing everything’s going good??

Made me laugh that because it's so true.

You do feel like Hecky is always thinking about damage limitation, so as long as we don't get thrashed, then job done.

One issue mentioned earlier is that Hecky does often use the 1st half as a sparring session, we did the same last season in the Championship
It's as though we're deliberately conserving out energy, then we come out more fired up and positive in the 2nd half.

I'm expecting we'll take a few risks and push a few men forward the longer in remains 1-0.
If it becomes 2-0 then it's game over, the players will lose heart and we'll concede more.

The problem is who does he bring on, the bench is league 1 standard
 
This division is fucking shite. Every time a player has gone to ground it’s a foul. For both teams as well.

Besides the fact we’re dogger and stinking the place out, the actual game is complete shit because any hint of aggression is deemed a foul. Norwood puts a great tackle in, fucking brilliant tackle and the ref cant wait to give the free kick. Its shit
 
4-2-3-1 should be our tactic.

The back 5 just seems to end up all over the place. 2 CDMs and CAM would surely help our defence and give us options to press for a goal.

It's because we're stinking the place out.

Almost everyone connected with the PL wants to see the back of this team when we play like this, it's bad for the reputation the league.
As mentioned earlier we don't look anywhere near Championship standard, we approach games with a league 1/ league 2 mentality.
