Foxy/Linz/other mods move to the tickets/travel forum if more appropriate - my old man's coming with me to the Blackburn game, he's driving and is a blue badge holder, we'd be approaching BDTBL in all likelihood down Eccy Road or the A61. Not having needed to park previously, is there anywhere that people would suggest that's cheap/safe to park near the ground as he can't walk too far? Let's assume for the sake of argument it was a normal league game, while there's clearly going to be a lot more on street parking available in this instance, I'd imagine he'd want to come to other games later this season so tips for what'd be a decent spot in the future would be appreciated

Blue badge parking? Surely we aren't letting them piggy cunts park near the Lane.

Thought they let disabled parking onto john st and behind church etc? Or is that only for disabled accessing wheelchair spaces on john st stand?

Alderson Road has street parking. Another option is London Road, the area around Wasabi Sabi.

You can park on double yellows with your blue badge with your clock for three hours. Set your clock on arrival. My mate is a blue badge holder and uses his for the match too. Loads of places to park nearby.
