If Scunny do win all 3 they'll deserve to be top.Started a thread on this and now seen this reply. we come out of this very well even if Scunny win all 3 games
Agreed mate, we knew we weren't good enough, same with Adkins. I think their best hope is if Chancer really splashes the cash next month. As it stands too many teams are better certainly for top two.Agreed Gray, a quick look on Porktalk shows that most are very concerned about how this season is panning out whilst some are deluding themselves into thinking things are OK and will suddenly kick into life at some point. It's a little like some our supporters were last year and in Clough's second season to be honest, myself included. You can't keep denying what is in front of you. I did, but deep down you know that a team is simply not good enough to go up.
Oh and yes, old Carlos is doing a cracking job. Long may he reign!

Growing up my old man used to tell me that we don't start playing until Christmas!

As long as we win (!) we'll benefit whatever happens.![]()
Shrewsbury are improving really good away win midweekThe only negative is that we've played Shrewsbury twice.
Scunthorpe have played Oldham twice.
Bolton have played Milwall twice.
Us wimbledon and rochdale had poor starts but have bedded in nicely . I see Rochdale as potentially the dark horses as they score plenty and play with no fear without the pressure of expectationWe've pulled back 9-11 points on Bolton and Scunny since our poor start in less than half a season. They are decent both teams but let's not make them out to be better than they are because once we got going, we've obviously been the best performing team in the league by 9-11 points. If the three teams continue to perform in a similar fashion we should win the league... although I know it's not usually that simple where we're concerned.

It's amazing just how big a part expectations (or lack of them) play in the success or failure of a football club.Us wimbledon and rochdale had poor starts but have bedded in nicely .
