Is this your biggest wind up thread since you started on a Blades board?

Not my thread.

As always, you've tried to make it your thread.

... and have managed to swerve us all away from the main issues at hand--ie, wreck another thread by yet more narcissistic posturing--along the way.

Linz, you have the patience of a saint even thinking about replying to this self-absorbed shite.

Why do United only provide sales updates when there's only 100 tickets left?

Yes. Benson was the original butler. The spin off had him going to work for a governor of somewhere with a housekeeper called Mrs Krauss and a bloke who was later unrecognisable in Star Trek TNG.

There's only one butler, Geoffrey, in Fresh Prince. Apparently a Blade as well, though unconfirmed.

100 tickets left, with a further 250 expected to be available.

Sheffield United - ballsing up boycotts since 1889!

Bunch of fucking twats, it'll be £50 next time and they'll be the reason for it.

*I know why you're going so I don't include you in that.

At least if it's 50quid i'll only have to spend half the time listening to our horrible hold music on the phone next season. :D

No matches should ever be categorised.
All visiting supporters should pay the same as the lowest price home ticket, regardless of who they support.
Will Bolton Wanderers be charging all their visiting supporters £30?
Are you and I any different to the folks who follow other less well supported clubs?
You pay the prices, you're giving the clubs free rein over what they charge next season and so on...
SUFC. Start the ball rolling, No matter who the opponent, charge their supporters what you charge us, the lowest price.

Just read this, totally agree.
Talking (non)sense as usual?

"Let me hooold youu for the last time"

No they got rid of that last season for some equally poor music, though at least you only have to hear one bar of it before the woman butts in to remind you you're still 349th in the queue..

You wanna get on that tinternet. Far less hassle.

Don't blame the fans for going, blame the club for charging it in the first place.
First game of the season, optimism, new ground for many, we were always going to sell out.

While clubs like ours and Villa (4.5k sold) continue to sell out at these prices the price will continue to rise. Basic demand and supply rules. Well done to all those going and willing to commit to the expenditure.

I'm sure if this wasn't the 1st game of the season, with a new manager and half a new team we would not have sold half of this.

The promotion train starts on Saturday.

I do blame Bolton. But the only way to fight it is to vote with your feet. If clubs are going to sell out all their tickets at £30 then it will become normal and £30 should never be normal in the 3rd division.

It's not the only way to fight it though. It's the only way to do it without making much effort.

People aren't going to miss the first game of the season. Look at Villa taking 4000 to Pigsville at £42 a pop.

If it was 3 weeks later, maybe a boycott would've stood half a chance.
When the away fans in the prem are paying a maximum of £30 it's a disgrace but we shouldn't have to NOT GO to lower the price. It should be common courtesy.

The train service have a lot to answer for too cos their prices are astounding for football fans compared to Germany who do allsorts of deals for football fans.

Well i cant get through on the blower. I don't know what is more frustrating - an engaged tone or 'let me hold youuuuuu for the last time...'

Interesting read, just a comment on the 4.5k Villa are taking at £42 a go...... those fans have been exposed to those kind of prices for years, in fact compared to going to places like Man Utd and Arsenal they probably see a day at the Sty quite a cheap day out at £42.

like a silly bugger, I could of bought my tickets a week ago and rang up finally at lunch and they'd completely gone. So if any of you have a couple to sell by all means message me, don't want to risk it on Weds.
