Them Coventry fans know how to shoot themselves in the foot.

They were whistling on and off alll game like they did against us.

In the final minute when 2-1 up, one of their fans blew the whistle when Bolton were attacking.
The Coventry defender stopped and they scored.

Idiots. Deserve to go down with such poor fans.

How is this allowed to carry on? The authorities need to clamp down and punish them.

Don't give a shit if it relegates the morons but it could affect teams that actually have something to play for this season.

Yeah great karma that has helped Bolton stay in touch with us.

Their pitch invasion when we played them went against them also. The second play resumed we scored. Serves them right, the way they have conducted their protests is with little common sense and regard for the actual game.

How on earth is blowing a whistle during the game a protest against the running of the club?

Sky mentioned during the Blackburn v Newcastle game on earlier today, that fans had organised to have a sit in at the final whistle. They got behind their team and won 1-0. Just goes to show, there's a right way to do it and the Coventry way.

If a Blade blows a Ref's whistle in the next home game during play, they'll be out on their arse, we all know and understand that, as does every fan in the football league.

How come it doesn't apply to them thick dicks then? Whichever way you roll it, they've been allowed to effect the result of a game, and although it's dropped their own team in it, it might not be just be the bottom of the table effects.

It won't effect us of course. ;)

Scunthorpe have already played away at Coventry and won. I think that was before Coventry fans started dicking around with whistles.

Here's a comment on the Coventry matchday forum

"Guys let's be clear on this, the whistle blowing today was not in any way related to the Sisu protests like the Sheffield united match. If it was I could forgive it to an extent.

The whistles today were a clear attempt to put off the botlon players when attacking and it backfired spectacularly"

It's hilarious really, they are going mad saying their stewards should be doing body searches for whistles. Apparently Coventry played really well today and deserved to win.
Just before the Bolton last minute equaliser, Coventry scored a deserved goal make it 3-1 but it was disallowed for off side. Bolton has an off day but still got a point.

Which is exactly what a section of their crowd were doing against us. How come they weren't booted out this time I wonder?

Cant wait for them to drop down into the National North....lets see them blow their whistles then with no segregation vs teams like Boston and Stockport!

Yep got to agree with you Flawed, their stupid protests have cost their team valuable points

Yes i wonder who thought of that one obviously some brainless idiot

From the Coventry forum:

Players seemed to stop just before Boltons 2nd after a flurry of whistles.
Give it a rest lads. I come to watch a game, not one that's ruined by constant whistles that must distract our players

What's this obsession with Coventry? Who cares?

They protested, we won.

Just fucking move on.
Where's the obsession????

We got a lot of stick from their fans and others because we took exception to their protest methods.

Now it's bit them on the arse again and some of us take pleasure in it and are taking the opportunity to say so.

No obsession, just making a remark on something that's brought a wry smile to our faces.
