I think a lot of our fans take on board that our keepers have done it a lot in recent years and most posters are asking for a change to the rules regardless.

I think it might be hyperbole to say that your keepers have never sat down for a cheeky time-out before though. Although in fairness your fans normally help out by blowing whistles and chucking tennis balls on the pitch when you look like conceding.

You won't find anyone on here disagreeing. We've been the 'Kings of Shithousing' at times, it's true.

All football fans are the same basically apart from Wednesday fans, who are in a different stratosphere entirely. But it does need to be stamped out.

We didn't deserve to lose but it was an excellent game of football to watch.

My son’s team when he was younger and in the UK had a very good goalie, but he’d drive me insane by dropping to the floor all the time with a big grin on his face. Even when it would be beneficial to get the ball moving quickly. He’d seen it on TV and found it hilarious to wind people up.

I’m fairly sure IdLiketoRogerMoore will have come across the player in question, he’s now a academy keeper and plays for SY Schoolboys. I do wonder what he does now the 8 second rule has come into place, but I haven’t seen him play for a few years.

If it's the same lad, I've never seen him have a good game for SY Schoolboys and he made countless errors and had serious anger issues giving quite a few penalties away by rushing out and being physical.

Agree totally, though I am amazed Coventry keeper has never done this before. It is well-embedded in the game now. Only time we didn’t do it was with Grbic in goal - we were losing every game from the first few minutes, so time-wasting was not much use…

We always played mainly in our opponents half until teams started to leave a few players on the halfway line and then hit us on the break. That's when our away form went badly wrong. Since signing Onyeka we've played more defensively away from home and it gives us the chance to slow the game down like many others do.

Rushworth has always been out on loan for a few seasons now. Won't be cheap but he is a big reason for us being where we are. Certainly a good chance of becoming a future England GK. The only time you got the better of him was because of the deflection for your goal.

We sell those 2 for a decent chunk of money and hopefully we don’t need to sell too many more, just offload some of the shite we bought last summer if there are desperate clubs willing to take them.

I know a few Cov fans talk about Blades as being a “parachute payments” club.
Well we earned every right to have those payments because it wasn’t achieved by a rich owner or handed to us on a plate. Wilder sold players to invest in the squad and built it from there. We also have a very good academy, despite it being Cat 2. Our owners were so skint that we couldn’t sustain any level of investment that would keep us there for more than two seasons (once).

Had a great record until it became easy for the Prem sides with Cat 1 to take your best players for a pittance. Our better players that came through were sold for a low amount with two of them playing for England about a year later. It isn't as easy as it used to be.

Yep, we’ve had that happen all too frequently, as well.

If you recall the last time we got promoted we sold Illiman Ndyiaye and Sander Berge before a ball was kicked. Hamer was the signing that season but he isn’t Ndiaye.
We’d have struggled to pack any punch as it was even if we’d have kept those two because there was no money to compete at the level required.

Middlesbrough and Ipswich are our closest rivals. Have been used to it being your club for a few years other than when you spent a season in the Prem but some clown had the idea of changing Wilder for someone who didn't have a clue.

Thanks for the lesson about how to run a football club according to the club who’ve been outside the PL for 25 years and has been a basket case of a club for the last 10-15 years.
