Please PLEASE can we not go all billy big balls? We haven't done the double yet you know.

We're not mate, certainly no big bollocks stuff from me at least. Leave all that to their lot, delusions of grandeur is what they're all about isn't it?! We have to turn up and earn the three points, if we want them.

Besides, all the pressure is on them. They ought to be performing better, making a promotion push, one of if not the biggest spenders in the division, change of manager. Meanwhile, we'll just play our usual unassuming style.

UTB!

He will be used to derbies,he has been in some Ruhr ones. However, the steel city Derby will be like nothing he has experienced before. Wouldn't surprise me if he had them playing like Bolton for the game. He will also contact that pillock at Norwich. They know each other.

He’s mentioned he knows about derbies because he was manager during the Berlin derby.

Hertha Berlin v Union Berlin in the 2nd division with 74K in the stadium.

But they’ve never been real rivals, 2 vastly different clubs.
That derby is more like a Wednesday versus Rotherham United derby.

Is it right that he hasn't managed any one since Sept 16 when he fell out with the Stuttgart owners ?

Look, Wendy are fucked. They thought they could just knock on Dean Smith's door (Brentford) and he'd rush to join the 'massive'. A shit manager like Paul Lambert took one look at who's pulling the strings and thought 'fuck that.' Uwe Rosler would have slightly worried me and he's still at Fleetwood, but all Wednesday want is a 'yes man' to prop up Wrong 'Uns corrupt regime.

Enjoy their decline.

I hope all this confidence doesn't permeate to the players, they just need to go out and batter them by being stronger, quicker and better on the day. No Billy big bollocks rubbish, just win.

As ever I am pessimistic as those scruffy bastards seem to always fall on their trotters.

Will appointing Borat give them a boost for the derby, seriously? Will it fuck!

Nowt to do with being complacent, or reckoning we're guaranteed victory, or thinking it'll be a breeze.

Just that they're every bit as stuck in the mire as they were this time yesterday.
(Although their magnificent against-all-odds draw at Carlisle might just give them a slight shot in the arm!)

We need to get into the final 3rd and bang one in like Thomas today, instead of passing it 20 times. Also get people Runyon at the back post like freeman did then we'll do the bastards UTB

SemiPro??

Yes. We were appalling in the 1-2 home defeat.

We were pretty poor at Hillsborough under Robson as well.

And as for Harry Haslam...........................

To be honest I haven't seen many Blades giving it the big en and neither should we. We all know what can happen in derbies as we have shown many times before.

The key for me is how we start, every poor performance this season has come when we have started slowly. We need to get at them early doors not let them get a foothold in the game at all. They are low in confidence at the minute so get a goal early and they COULD fall to pieces. However I expect a tight nervy game and genuinely think it could go either way.

'Praise and Grumble' served to illustrate one of the many differences between us and them. Lee Bullen said he was 'pleased to get them (Carlisle) back to Hillsborough.'

A Wendy fan said (imagine stupid Parson Cross accent here) 'Aaah fink Jos...' See? We're on first-name terms already. This was the cowardly fuck who hid in the stands where a proper manager like CW would have wanted to roll his sleeves up and get straight on with it. It's like they always referred to the previous manager as 'Caaarloss' as if he was a long-lost friend. Ditto 'Meeeeeeester Chansiri'. What a bunch of servile fuckers they are.

Next up was CW who referred to a challenge by Regan Slater. 'I saw Duffs look at him as if he was thinking 'where's that come from?' That was a Made in Sheffield challenge!' He also referred to his 'blooding' of Academy players. 'Look, nobody's holding a gun to my head saying you must play Academy players. That would never happen at this club.' Seems CW is learning from Mourinho! :)

As you say, the Berlin Derby hasn't really got the history behind it. Hertha fans helped during Union's financial woes. The only derbies of note are the Schalke Dortmund, the Stuttgart and Hamburg derbies. He has not been involved in any of those, as far as I know. But there is nothing like the animosity of the steel city Derby. He will be left in no doubt after Friday.
From the few people I have spoken to here, his appointment is baffling. We'll see.

There is every chance he'll get a reaction from their players and I don't think we should be over confident.

Numerous players had got to the stage with Carlos that they knew they weren't in the plan and he couldn't motivate them as a result.

Could be a totally different approach under this new guy
