I don't know how anyone else would feel but if some grinning fraudster had just cheated me out of £35 million and was making podcasts laughing about it, I'd be a lot less forgiving than I suspect the Prince will be.

Hopefully the two crooks get what's coming to them in whatever guise the revenge takes.

Good listen. The acceptance that they don't know it all is refreshing becsause it's followed by 'now I know' and what's apparent it once he's aware, he plans and makes decisions around that knowledge.

The Bord stuff 'a salesman' was interesting. Speaks to a bit of naivety that hopefully they've learnt from. Sounds like the systemic issues that many have pointed out as problematic - the club fell to pieces when they sacked Wilder - have been addressed and the procedural side of the club in now sorted.

A singular vision - PL and stay there. Wrapped up in that is a realisation that the Academy is basically the valuable part of the club. Develop good players = make money = success.

I think the narrative around them being charlatans is wide of the mark. Naive, they appear to have been, but malicious I don't think for a second. Re the Ownership / buy out, I suspect this is one area they aren't naive and I think they've been shrewd, perhaps even opportunistic and may have played HRH.

Overall, it's very good to get a long form interview.

That makes some sense and the first explanation for not paying the final £35 million. However, that had to be in the agreement with Prince Abdullah. If it was why would he take them to court?

That's why it was kinda confusing and vague. So was there an agreement, is 35 mil owed or not, he doesn't directly say.

Watched the video and Rosen comes across as a decent bloke — about as much as a billionaire Yank can be.


The fact he brought Wilder back, flew him over for a round of golf and then rehired him is enough for me to believe he genuinely wants the club to succeed.


As for the Prince dispute, we simply don’t know the full story. There could be clauses in the agreement or legitimate legal reasons why the money hasn’t been paid.


What COH absolutely can be criticised for is the communication. They’ve allowed a massive information vacuum to develop, and that has created most of the suspicion and negativity around them.


After watching the podcast, I’m much more positive about the future than I was before.

I think some of them simply don’t like being bypassed. They’re no longer the gatekeepers, so when the club speaks directly to fans or uses other platforms, they get the face on and start kicking off.

I can't stomach this, please don't mistake it for them speaking out. The club is a vanity project to them, it's obvious in the flashy but empty editing, and the way he says Sheffield

They don't have a clue about us, and there's clearly no one around to give them context, let alone even a degree of curiosity to find out themselves.

Bypassing journalists means bypassing questions. People hate on local press but at least there's a degree of pushback. This strips us of our ability to speak out, because I can guarantee they aren't reading the comments and taking on actual feedback beyond their corporate bubble
