1-0 Blades.
Well worked goal from Berge.
We started poorly but was just start to show signs of our superiority.
Fortunately for us we have some really high quality players who can score goals out of the blue.

They look like a decent league 1 side. We look like a Premier League side playing in 2nd gear.
Let's hope we don't become complacent, sit back and invite them in to the game.

We are absolute mustard when we want to be

Ndiaye is a champions league player

Got to say Lowe gave us a real attacking threat down the left against Coventry
and tonight it's Bogle giving us an attacking threat down the right wing.

Imagine what we'll be like with both Lowe and Bogle playing at the same time.

Been impressed with N'Dieye, McAtee, both look top quality with the ball and Berge has been decent too.

Commentator just said

"and here comes Stevens. We've not seen him motoring down the left wing like Bogle has done down the right wing".

Steven's needs to change his studs at halftime

Co commentator has just said had

"Blackpool have managed to stop Stevens from marauding down the left hand side but Bogle has had plenty of joy down the right"

Don't think they realise that Stevens marauding days are over. He's generally been steady but hasn't offered an attacking threat for ages.

Berge is looking better higher up. Downside is means Mcatee now playing deeper and largely anonymous lol.

Thought he’s been alright McAtee. You’re right though, but looks good whenever he has the ball.

OK first half. Looked good going forward and worked well as a unit, just missing the final ball/shot. Looked a bit shaky at the back and a few heart in mouth moments as well. Need the second to calm us down.

Watching tonight proves we need to bring another striker to the club in January.

If we do and get it right then top 2 is nailed on.

I think a largely positive half. Blackpool given us a couple of concerns but generally when we attack we look dangerous and they look a bit flustered. A few times they've quite literally thrown bodies in the box.

Bogle looking up for it, Berge while still not quite there yet in terms of fitness looking good. Ndiaye doing what he does. Anel seems to want a goal as well.

Yet another match we could have had tucked up by half time I think, the Blackpool players look to be getting a little annoyed with each other at time. Think one of them told Madine to fuck off at one point.

One thing I did notice... have Blackpool got the collars on their kits wrong way round? Looks like it.

Agreed, that's what Doyle brings us, you get solidity in midfield that gives mcatee or berge the chance to motor forward
Sharp off

Mcatee into sharps position.

Doyle on and into the more deeper role.

Feels like we're trying to over play and trying a tricky pass when it's not on and giving possession away cheaply.. need to play smarter and be more selfish.

Just take the shot when it's on.
Good shout, its a re run of the Wigan game, these are poor but we are giving them far too much space to build up play, again the threat is down our left, giving cheap fouls away for them to load balls in,which is exactly what they want. Its up and down like a basketball game and far too open for me,we need to get our foot on the ball and control this better, these are looking to hoof and bully us in our area,so far ones not dropped for them

1-0 at half-time

Quite similar to the Wigan game, we look a clear class above the oppostion however we've been quite casual.
The 1st half has been almost "too easy" and our players seems to be coasting in 2nd gear a bit.

The problem is.....our players might be sat in the dressing room right now thinking the game is won
where as Blackpool might come out fired up playing much better 2nd half...it's got a Wigan game feel to it.
We could and should be out of sight with an easy comfortable win
but I can see us sitting back defending for the last 10 minutes inviting them on to us.
