Only team in the Championship who’s away goals conceded is still in single figures, let’s hope that is continued.

Any tickets available in the Away end at the ground tomorrow night, like at Wigan?

No. Club said

"Tickets for our game against Blackpool tomorrow evening have now completely sold out.

Blades supporters are strongly advised not to travel without a valid match ticket
"
Fuck sake. I need to nip in to town tomorrow as well. Anyone got a spare to sell me?

Tangerines 7 games without a win. Lets hope that continues to 8 games without a win tomorrow night for the Tangerines and another 3 points for the Blades

The only selection issue forPH is which player should cover for Egan. (It’s probably the only way he can get a rest from club and country football)!

On paper, anyone CB could do it, but if Basham is used for cover, it still allows two centre backs to overlap and get forward. Bash is Mr reliable usually, but this allows him to conserve energy that his normal position requires. He’s played alongside Egan for long enough to know his game inside out.

I think PH is saving McBurnie for the QPR game. Unleash a frustrated McBurnie against a greater threat than Blackpool?

Egan might be glad he misses the game thru suspension and Basham might be glad he is on the bench for the game at Blackpool.

The last game was totally mind boggling and ended with the sending off of Lge 1 Wes.

basham wanted a move to Charlton but due a conflict of interests they didn't want him. I dont know why. Anyway he is a good bench player, can do owt when brought off it.

Why 815 by the way for the kick off? Never seen that one before.

There’s a famous seaside town called Blackpool, that’s noted for fresh air and fun,
and Mr and Mrs Ramsbottom went there with young Albert, their son.

Wes
Baldock - Bash - Anel - Clarke - lowe
Mcatee - Norwood - Doyle
Sharp - Ndaiye

Would be my guess for this eve.

Our last two games at Bloomfield Road has finished 0-0, hopefully we can change that tonight!

Wes
Baldock - Bash - Anel - Clark - Lowe
Berge - Norwood - Doyle
McAtee
Ndaiye

I think we will look to absolutely destroy them in the middle of the park.

I think it might be a good time for a bit of squad rotation with another more difficult game in a few days. I'd rest George for a game and put Bogle in for this one. Doyle for Sander and Bash in for Egan and play Anel in the centre of the three.

McCall said Berge was a doubt.

We are short in midfield by the look of it again.

I'll go with:

---------------------------Wes
----Baldock-----Anel-----Clark------Robinson-----Lowe
-------------Doyle-------Norwood-----McAtee
--------------------Jebbo--------Ndiaye

subs:

Davies, Stevens, Bogle, Basham, Brooks, Khadra, Sharp

We need to start Bogle soon, but as we're already having to change the defence due to Egan's suspension it seems daft to do it twice. Also, Baldock is better in the air and they pose that threat. I'm going for Robinson over Bash. Purely because he keeps the balance and that Bash is likely needed to come on in midfield at some stage.

Midfield is once again a worry. Presuming Berge isn't starting due to the knock and playing two 90s I'd just bring Doyle in. The worry here is that I don't think Doyle or McAtee can play for 90 minutes so we're going to have to change 2/3s of our midfield. I'm going to guess that we won't risk Berge, so leaving Bash and Brooks on the bench to cover midfield. We desperately need players back in the middle. That is a very small midfield though!

Billy has done well, but surely he can't keep starting game after game? With McBurnie maybe still missing, given not fit enough for the bench a few days ago, I think we might have to risk Jebbo starting.

We're going to have to take risks with players who aren't match fit at some stage.

I think these cloggers will kick us all over the shop tonight I can't see them trying to out football us. We need to be disciplined and not pick up any cards. They're going to try to wind us up, we should have had a hat full at the lane against 9 men not sure how it ended 3-3 apart from an inspired performance from their keeper.

blackpool should be another 3pts because as we say alot the table doesnt lie & they are bottom 3 for a reason, 1 of those reasons is they havent won since october 29th. but interestingly looking their fixtures you make a case that blackpool players only turn up for the big games v top 10 sides, because we all know when they were interested in playing in a football match & not all the anti football, faking injuries & norwich tactics that was big cause at the massive fight at Full time. blackpool were playing really well & if they had that form they should be top half not relegation zone

because they lost to wigan, were hammered 3-0 v rotherham, drew with hull & Cardiff who both had 1 win in 8, but then v top 10 sides theyve beaten Watford 3-1, Preston 4-2, Coventry 1-0, drew 3-3 with Burnley & Us

First goal is key.
If we score 1st then think it'll be a comfortable win
If they score 1st then could be really scrappy, start stop game and a difficult night.

I said I'd take 4 points from the Coventry and Blackpool games, so I suppose that means I'd take a draw,

However I reckon this will be similar to the Wigan away game.
A fairly comfortable but unconvincing win where we don't get out of 2nd gear. Think we'll win 1-0 or 2-1.

Which is exactly why we ended up with most of the team unavailable.
