Yep, I'm staggered even BTL can put a positive spin on this one. We sold a player when we were top of the league (was this the last time we were actually top of the league?) and now he could be firing the filth back to the Premiership while we languish and hope for a play off spot in the THIRD FUCKING DIVISION (caps for BTL).

This is possibly one of the worst pieces of business we could have done in recent history. It was so bad a blind man with a mask on, a bag over his head in a sealed 3 foot thick concrete room would have noticed. Yet some trumpet a possible sell on clause. If it were 400% sell on clause it wouldn't make me feel any better.

Blades thread or not, the snorters are doing exactly what we should have done over the last few years rotting in this god-forsaken league in signing the best players from within it. Unfortunately we have a Chairman that is totally clueless and simply makes knee jerk decisions but he's a Blade so its ok. If someone like Reg Brearley had been chairman during the last 7 years of disaster then protest and anti board demonstrations would have been common place but we've turned into effing sheep that swallow the bollocks year in year out.

He's having a decent season but 5 goals from 43 last season, 4 from 31 the season before is hardly the overall form of a player who's going to make all the difference.
