Billy's or brownies

Good question! Both came from defensive headers.

Browny had a bit more to do and it was the pigs after all.

Both superb though.

I think Billies because he had less time to readjust and had to almost turn his back to goal.

Both amazing goals though.

Brownies will probably be the one we remember more over time.

Akinbyis volley at Swillsborough deserves to be mentioned alongside them two as well. Akinbyi deserves more respect from fans for that moment alone

Hard to separate.

I'd give it to Bill just because of the height of it, most people outside top strikers in the Prem would either just miss it all together or hit Ricky at the back of the BLUT haha

Sweet as.

Browny's though, beautiful strike. And against Wendy. Maybe with a bit of distance I might reconsider and give it him, but right now, got to be Bill. Such an important goal for us.

No debate whatsoever. Billy's was a brilliant volley, superb technique and one of the goals of the season no doubt, but Brown's was simply out of this world, a cleaner striker from further out, in a bigger game, past a better keeper.

I never even thought about it in relation to browns goal. As much as I like Billy it doesn’t come close for me

I actually reckon Billy's was harder given the height (although I've not double-checked that, I'm just going off memory), but the connection on Browny's was so so sweet - and felt so so good for it to be against the Wendies - that I'd have to give it to him.

For scoring a goal like that against Wednesday, I will always regard Akinbiyi as a legend, even though he didn't do a lot else.

As for the original question - Brown's was a better goal, the technique on both was excellent, but Brown had more to do, and of course as good as it is to beat Leeds (again), Brown's was against pigs, which again gives it a slight edge over Sharp's.

However, what a great strike it was on Saturday, very pleased for Billy as many were doubting him.

Not sure we need to compare but technique wise Browny's was better.

I said to my mate at the time on Saturday , "I wonder how many missed it because the are finishing their ale/pie/talk etc. There own fault if they did, one for the old scrap book in years to come, oh, browns by the way.

I was 8 that season, and IMO that and the Forest game were the best football memories I'll ever have

Akinibiyi's averageness was forgotten for the goal he scored in the 1 nil win v Derby and the goal against the pigs. 6 points he gained for us that season when we got promoted so worth the money for that alone.

Brown's goal.

Billy's goal is still top class and if he had been allowed to score that goal against Wednesday instead then I would probably be saying his.

What about Jagi's goal against Leeds? Different type of strike but you don't see many like it.

Billy’s was harder because of the movement, stepping back, but behind him and height but Brownies was against t’pigs and corker also!

Brownies.

Brown's easily. No contest really. Though Sharp had to adjust his body position a bit more. Both beauties.
