I have hopes for Rothwell, clearly didn't work for him at Rangers and he was in and out of the team after we signed him but hopefully he can show some of his previous quality this season.

Tanganga, Campbell and Burrows. All of those three are capable of being amongst the best in their position in this division.

I think Rothwell is capable of being decent.

Arblaster was a emerging star before injury. Possible.

Cannon I'd like to think more can come from him.

Chong maybe. But despite some decent halves Inc a good one Vs Derby yet to be convinced.

If taken a fresh view maybe we could find a role for Ukaki in the correct formation, perhaps not as an initial starter but an option.

Appreciate this might invite some ridicule but he didn’t look out of place in pre-season in contrast to the rest of the group. In fact the goal he scored against the French team we played was quite composed.

If we went to 5 at the back, he could emerge as a cover/alternative to Seriki. He was quite tenacious from what I saw, seemed to be a hard worker.

If we are light on wingers, given Chong wasn’t Mr Consistency, could he be an option there?

It’s easy to be snobbish about these lads but it’s only fair to recognise they may improve.

Would he have contributed any less than Shackleton for instance?

He banged goals in against lower league teams last pre-season but looked a bit out of his depth against better teams.

I’m really hoping this lad can kick on and break through this season.

The pre-season before last gave us all hope that Callum O'Hare was a Championship cheat code too.

I want to see more from Tanganga this season. He had a good start last year, but regressed badly as the season went on. Never really recovered from having to play right back. I still think he can be a good player for us if we sort him out with a dependable partner

i havent much confidence in mcguinness so do think we need to bring at least 1 centre back in if not souttar think it has to be a left sided centre back although do think mcallum could play that role at a push

Gawd it's remarkable how no matter how many we have got rid of there is still squad filler with little hope of making it around.

Lets hope Dunfermline want him...
