Good in both boxes
Up against a big club in the division

Steve Bettis has supported me all the way
We understand we are a bit short
If we want good players, and we do, then it will be last minute

Phillips isn’t ready to start as he’s only just joined and needs a pre-season but boy he’s got character

Nothing incoming imminent. He dodged the question by in large other than to say that no one in for todays deadline.

To be fair, after doing these interviews for years and years, to a good degree of scrutiny..... how many of us could manage to avoid a fair few predictable and well worn phrases and clichés?
For many of the posters on here, I don’t think fairness comes into it when watching these press conferences.

For what it’s worth, I thought Wilder gave well balanced answers today across a wide range of topics. He looked to be in good form - let’s hope we can say the same for the team on Saturday evening.

I think it was Johan Cryuff who told the Barca press that he'd be lining up 21232 just to wind them up. And wind them up it did.

I start getting shitty at work under the mildest scrutiny, so I admire their patience really. I think Mcall said it was one of the reasons he didn't like being a manager and I guess that applies to many others
