Best transfer window ever

Firstly, the window's not closed yet, the striker signing is arguably the most important business we'll do, although Rammers signing was major and I don't see it as a step down on Hendo either.

If our fans were hoping for players who were good enough to come straight in, then no this isn't the best window ever. Only Rammers will do that now. But, we've signed players not just for this season but to develop, and obviously you can't judge those signings now but later in the season, or even next season and beyond. If we do sign Brewster than I think it'll have been a great window. If we don't sign a decent forward in the next week or so, sounds like we will though, and maybe we sign someone who's more of a long shot or cover, then its still been a good window for the squad but not a game changer that we'd all like. We knew fro Wilders comments that we weren't going to bring in big names or big money signings, but we needed several players to come in, even if it is, in the short term, to make the squad stronger, rather than the first 11. I still think come the end of the window we'll be in a much better shape than when we started the window, and I don't mean to copy Wilder when I say that!

I think we will start to see the best of Berge and he will start to dominate games regardless of which role he plays.

Under normal circumstances a 1-1 away at Burnley would be a very acceptable result.

People soon forget that transfer windows used to mean that we sold our best players.
