But the only change was enforced and none of the new boys came off the bench. Don’t get that, even if only to give McBurnie a rest.

Not a chance. The starting 11 hasn’t been improved. We’ve just got a slightly better squad

Devil's advocate but how do we know Bogle/Lowe/Ampadu/Burke/New Striker aren't going to come into the starting XI in the coming weeks and improve it?

When you make signings this close to the start of the season, they're not going to make it in most cases.

Bogle looks exciting and is knocking on the door. Ampadu is highly rated by everybody in the game, Sander is quality.

By playing these 3 are we weakening the team? Surely not.

Add Brewster & Beundia and we challenging top 10 again.

Yep, the squad is better and there's more depth in case of injuries but the starting 11 is no better, if not worse due to Ramsdale not being as good as Henderson and the players all being a year older.

Think you’re In for dissapointment if you expect there to be two marquee signings like that. doesn’t seem like the even the Brewster one is close from the post match interview.

but the squad is stronger for sure

This is the problem we shouldn’t have been challenging the top 10 last year and shouldn’t be doing it this year! The sooner people get their head round this the better!

Oh yes, let's just hope n look foward to a relegation battle instead.

Imagine my utter shock at seeing all the bedwetters and closet 🐷 rubbing their hands with joy like it’s their birthday and Xmas rolled into one! We‘ve lost the 1st game of the season to a top 6 side , who if they keep that up over a season will be challenging the top 4, and contender for goal of the season. If Messi/Ronaldo had scored their 1st goal, sky would be wanking over it for months. No blame for Ramsdale either for their 2nd goal from me. Great header. We need to take our red and white tinted glasses off at times and just accept that we’ve been rolled over by a better team. If we had the money to buy Jimenez and Traore up top, we too would be challenging for the top 6. We’re fine apart from up top. We’ll finish mid table, no problem.

Same team as ended last season. Strengthened squad.
Need a striker desperately.
Nowt else.

So in other words you'll be happy loosing most of the games and just scraping survival? At this stage of season..

Wouldn’t surprise me if either full back is no longer first choice come the end of the season. Not saying it will happen but I think it’s a distinct possibility.

I know it’s only one game but there’s really pressure on both Baldock and Stevens to perform now, which should be a positive thing for us. But if there’s one thing Wilder likes, it’s players with a point to prove and I would imagine Bogle and Lowe are exactly that.

I think at some point we will have to have different threats going forward, something fresh in order for us to create chances. If either of the two new lads can show they can do that on a consistent basis, whilst remaining solid defensively, then the shirt is up for grabs for me.

Well to be pedantic, Wolves finished 7th last season and 7th the year before that. Before then they were a Championship club. They may become a top 6 side but they aren't one yet.

They looked a top six side today.
Class all over the field with at least four players close to world class.
They’ve sucked the Portuguese national team dry but best of luck to them.
Our Blades are a good side but we were outclassed today.

Perhaps, but who do they replace? Only Leicester could be vulnerable, really. Maybe Spurs.

Spurs definitely, and probably Leicester too. They're one Vardy injury away from midtable.

Wolves and Chelsea are about equal I'd say (depending on who else Chelsea sign)

Top 6 contenders this season will probably be Man City, Liverpool, Chelsea, Wolves, Arsenal, Man United and then a gaggle of other teams who might have a chance including Spurs, Leicester, Everton etc

I meant top 6 this season! in fact, going on the premise that people are losing their shyte after one game, Chelsea are light years behind wolves going on tonight’s respective performances. HTF Chelsea won at Brightonalona, I’ll never know.

Yet. Give the new ones time to take over
That's what I ment, the team he put out against wolves was no diff from last term apart from rammers . I would have 2 of the new ones at least 20 mins or more. I'm not having a go or anything but to be honest last term most of the prem teams were poor. If it wasn't for hendo (clean sheets) it would have been different. We struggled with goals and can't see us improving with the team against wolves.

The past 3 windows have improved the squad yes. But the first team hasn’t been improved at all. It’s caught up on us this season and fear we’ve stood still for the past year and it could nearly cost us
