Like how he's not changed his profile pic back yet, you never know 🤔

Him and McBurnie up front would be a fearsome pairing in the championship. With Gus and Blaster pulling the strings in behind we would be very dangerous going forward.

Unfortunately we will do well to have two out of that four in our side next season.

Brereton-Diaz more than proved himself to be Premier League capable with how he performed for our absolute shower. If he ends up in the Championship this season then he needs a new agent.

Both him and Hamer came out of last season showing that they are capable of the step up. Hamer has nothing to prove by spending another season in the Championship. He's going to be 27 this month so it's now or never if he wants to attempt to play in the Premier League for a sustainable period in his career.

But but but. He could be back in the prem next year with us ? 😊

If we played him wide left forward I think he’d be better than Barry. The reality is though Hamer is our best player in that position.

WTF has happened to him since ending his first loan spell with us? The way he played for us in his 2nd spell, you'd have thought he's been out with a serious injury for a year or two and kicking a ball for the first time.

His biggest strength is playing in a side who like to counter. Getting a 1 on 1 with a defender and getting a shot in on goal.

In the premier league, we barely touched the ball and he ended up getting lots of his favourite kind of chances. Ironically, it suited him much more than when we held much more of the ball against ‘lesser’ sides in the championship, who were content to sit in and defend against us. He needs space to run into and get defenders running at their own goal.
