I received today an e-mail from the club plugging this match, I dare say a lot of you have also received the same one.

God I loath these pathetic attempts at marketing. So they get a kick back from ESPN's presumably, central deal, with the League but how on earth is it in the interest of Sheffield United to send me an e-mail plugging the TV coverage of the Villa v Chelsea game this weekend?

The E-mail states the fact that their coverage starts at 4.45pm on Saturday. er, wouldn't you actually prefer me to be in BDTBL at that point or do you really not care that I bother to travel 100 miles to come and attempt to support my team?

Perhaps the marketing genius behind this e-mail would be happier if I allocated my leisure money spend on a subscription to ESPN and abandoned actually supporting the Blades. It really makes me wonder sometimes.

How dare you. The club is trying to make some money and all you do is moan about it. It makes my blood boil when people can't see the bigger picture and just want to whinge and maintain their own pathetic agenda. It's this kind of attitude that is dragging the club down and makes us look ridiculous. The kick backs from this e-mail might mean we can use PG Tips for the half time teas instead of Co-op RedLabel. I support every effort this club makes in trying to earn it's keep and I despair when I see people who don't.

Exactly! by the way I tried to reply to the pm but the site is saying your inbox is full and you can't receive any more.

Houso still being a sex pest then Grecian?

We obviously have no ambition because I haven't received one.

i'd be much more upset if it was to advertise wendy vs dagenam n redbridge that would indeed be quite an insult :)

I dont receive emails from sufc anymore. Marked it as phishing scam. Also i don't visit the sufc website anymore. It is appallingly bad.
