So says the lass who served us today - and that includes Arsenal's allowance. When we said we weren't surprised because of the cost of the tickets, she said that's what Arsenal had said. As we know, in cup games both clubs have to agree on the cost of the tickets.

Bloody Londoners!!

Gonna be an empty one tomorrow - although the queue was outside the ticket office so maybe it'll pick up?

Im not going simply because i cant afford to tommorow

i was expeceting 16,000 at most tomorrow. think arsenal have all the lower tier so 2,000+

why would people pay £22 though when its on tv? Im not saying cos its on tv people wont go but especially for a cup game, when both teams have said they wont play there full strength team, is it really worth it??

Normally whether its on tv or not i will go home and away but I must admit im not too bothered about paying that much for the game tomorrow

Me too.

I was going to say 14,000 sounds about right. Hopefully they'll learn a lesson from how they've priced the game.

As expensive as it is, they probably think they've priced it about right.

£22 x 14,000 = £308,000

Now even if the tickets cost £15, to get the same amount of cash they've have to get 20500 people to come out on a Wednesday night, for a game that's on TV and that not many people think we'll win, to make the same amount of money.

We probably wouldn't get more than 20k even if we made the tickets cheaper, and at least this way they don't have to pay as many stewards...

Most people i have spoken to aren't going because tickets are too expensive. If they were cheaper they would go, resulting in more people and the likelihood of a better atmosphere, which in turn could lead to a win.

Also, why haven't they got any discounts this time for season ticket holders or people who attended the other cup games? United's customer(fans) relations is poor, always has been.

£22 + cost of travel to see our second team get battered by their youth team, or get battered watching it for £22 in a pub?

hmmm...

The ever optimistic Tiz :D

great - you get 10% with a season ticket anyway!!!

oooo, so that would give me a 15% discount in a shop i've not bought owt from since I was about 16. I can see my incentive there :)

If you dont go how sick will you feel if we have one of those oh so special BDTBL nights, it could just happen?

I honestly don't think it will be that much of a shock if we beat the Arsenal kids tonight and i will even go so far as to say that i have a stong feeling that we will get a result. That said, it would do the confidence levels of the players some good and hopefully rejuvinate some of the fans that have lost a bit of faith.

Also, the lack of a full house may ease the pressure off our boys a bit; especially with some of the luke warm atmospheres that we have witnessed this season.
