I just can't understand why, suw arnt journos, isn't his statement enough? I find it a bit sad that people obsess with famous peoples private lifes, like the current obsession with how oasis got back together etc

Each to their own, but for me, the “picking the bones” and fractured graphic of him and his dad is numerous steps beyond discussing it.

Lads stated he’d rather not have gone public, most of it is a private family matter, I’d suggest the best thing to do would be to respect him, feel sorry that he’s felt he has to go public, park it and support him, rather than clickbait views.
 
I've just watched it, all Hal has done is read out the statement Anel made and quoted some of Danny Halls article, he's not 'picked the bones' out of anything, that was probably just an unfortunate turn of phrase to use, he's not speculated on anything or said anything we can't already read in the public domain. He gave about a minute of opinion where he basically said it's tough to hear about someone going through such a difficult situation with their family, and that's pretty much it.

I get everyone is probably a little protective with Anel at the minute, which is nice to see, but I think some are being a bit overly sensitive about a fan channel covering Blades related news.

Disagree, he might not have picked the bones out of Anels private life and if all he’s done is reiterate and recycle the stuff that’s already in the public domain then why bother other than to jump on the bandwagon and get clicks?

Plus I don’t think it’s being over sensitive to express an opinion that he didn’t want it in the public domain, it’s respecting his wishes to privacy.

it's the biggest Blades related news of the day and they're one of the main fan sites, I can't see why they wouldn't cover it. It's not jumping on the bandwagon at all. If we were a prem club, or even Leeds, it'd be all over with shed loads of negative speculation, at least this is just reporting what Anel has said with a sympathetic tone.

Sad really when you have to put up with shite like this from your dad and have to cover or say nothing for fear of up setting him . Good on him for getting it off his chest must have been a heavy burden to carry around

I had a great dad. Can’t imagine where my life would be without him. I feel sorry for anyone who has gone through anything like this. Fuck deadbeat dads. I was completely wrong about Anel and hold my hands up completely. I hope he gets a great reaction on Friday.

That fucking video needs taking down. Disrespectful shite. Dont matter if its united or not, making fucking drama out of someone’s plight is a cunts game. That thumbnail is a prime example.

I thought this was a joke til I saw their tweet. Already a few on Twitter saying much the same as on here that doing a video on this is in poor taste.

Enough people will read what Anel has said in The Star and that should be the end of it.

It’s funny how everyone is ‘protective’ now whereas up until the Watford game he’s been getting abuse left right and centre with people telling him to ‘fuck off’ out of the club. Hypocrites

True but we are not all psychic either, fans can only react to what they see on the pitch or react to whatever his father was chatting.

Obviously Anel wanted to keep it private and rightly so but it got to breaking point. That's all down to his dickhead father, who lets be right here has been stirring shit amongst the fanbase since Anel joined club.
 
Sounds like Anel has gone public about some issues that clearly have an impact on his mental health, so it's heart warming that we have a "fan" who's prepared to give up his free time to post a "YouTube" video, if we hang around long enough maybe our "fan" site will find time to do something about Gary Speeds death? Fuck me another low point for our fan sites mind you least he hasn't charged a tenner.

Just look back at how YorkBlade advertised the 6pm bulletin..... there was nothing apparently sympathetic
