Anel gone awol.

I was glad Anel was staying cause I’ve always thought there still a player in there. When his dad started on about the club and his son I thought best just get rid. Shows there’s always the other side to the story. Makes it worse he’s had to go public, should be left to deal with his personal issues with support where needed from the club and fans.

Well, you totally now see why his form dropped off as he must have been so unhappy with his dad, and the pressure he was under from him, dealing with narcissistic family members is absolutely draining and the toxiticy is unbearable.

Lovely to hear he loves it here and just wants to play, sounds like he loves the city and being here too.

Let’s show him lots of love at Hull and also at home against Derby!

Does mention in the article that he wanted to play for Bosnia. He would have done well for Sweden though.
 
His Dad sounds like a full on arsehole. Anel alluded to some kinda domestic abuse with his mother, looks like he's been trying to take advantage of his sons career for his own financial gain, can't keep his mouth shut, made frankly bizarre comments about Anels wife, it all points to someone with narcissism and personality disorder issues. Looks like this has been going on for years too

I'd imagine there are a fair amount of fans that don't read this forum or twitter that will watch it and enjoy it. Also, the fact social media gives everyone the chance to search and discuss news instantly, shouldn't put people off from trying to produce decent content, whether Sean Thornton wants watch it or not.

Shouldn’t the tube community just leave him and his family alone. Now I understand why I’ve seen a few comments asking YorkBlade not to do it.

If that is the intended content ie Anel’s personal life it crosses the line for me Hal. Is it free or behind a paywall?

Enjoy reading about a players personal issues, which after he has explained why he has posted what he has, has asked for some privacy? Several posters have suggested it’s not a good idea.

Still, be serious faces rather than the gleeful gurning normally on show. Let me know please, l’m not a fan of look at me guff put forward as journalism.

Don’t be such a Negative Norman.

I for one can’t wait until 6pm until the bestest content creator in the world, as well as our number one spokesmen and media personality is pontificating about the private life of one of our best players who is going through the mill at the minute.

There are very few clubs fortunate enough to be able to boast such a hardcore and dedicated supporter like YorkBlade

Much of what Anel said in the Star article wouldn't have been out of place on the Mental Health thread. It would have stayed there as well, with empathetic and sympathetic replies. It wouldn't have been used as an excuse to tout it round various social media outlets.
 
Anel has made a statement, which must have been incredibly difficult for him. The heading alone, "picking the bones out of this." Is incredibly insensitive and crass.

Talk about the game on Friday and the new CB pairing by all means. But analysis of his statement, nah that's just all kinds of wrong.

I partly agree that it shouldn't be used to make money for clicks but at the same time we are discussing and reacting to it so why shouldn't people who subscribe to YouTube accounts do the same?

Personally I think people posting chants bringing it up are worse than the content creators.

Most importantly, I hope Anel doesn't give a f**k about anyone's supposed "informed" comment.
Perhaps certain YouTube entrepreneurs are finding inside contacts (cash flow) going quiet with the change over.
 
It should be a massive weight off the lad's back and I hope he feels liberated now and just moves on, knowing he doesn't have to try to appease that arsehole any more. It can be done!!

Is it any different to what we're all doing on here? I'd expect it follows the same sentiment as most fans, which has been largely positive and supportive of Anel. I'll have a watch and report back
