I think he's been great since he came into the team given his age and just out of the academy,
For goodness sake why can't people see his undoubted potential, is it because he doesn't score a hatfull of goals, some time that's all some supporters look for in a player, I do remember (yeah i'm really old !) when I was young and the players i thought were really good were Doc' Pace Mick Jones et al, because they scored goals - everybody else was crap Lol, As I got older i look at how they move on and off the ball, where and when they run, i appreciate the game a lot more than when i was a kid being passed down the kop over peoples head to get to the front, aagh those were the days! I digress - Brooks has all the attributes at his young age to be a really top player, mark my words some club is going to pay a lot of money for him in a couple of seasons time, if not before.

Waste of a contract. He fannies about with the ball too much when his job should be scuffling about in the middle of the parks and banging it in the channels for the forwards to chase down.

I have to agree. He is one of those where the Premier League is a level above where he should be starting games but hopefully he will benefit from the experience and we can really see what he can do in the Championship next season

After today, I take this back. Best game I’ve seen him play and although I think we’re going down, he will gain so much from this season and will be a star in the Championship

First time I'll say with confidence that he's going to be a good player

Best game he's had by far. But more importantly, he demonstrated with more clarity what his key attributes are and what sort of player he's going to be

Showed good ball retention ability, timing and footwork and I especially liked the run down the left, around 22 mins in

That midfield as it is increasingly looks like one that can compete near the top of the championship

A class act today. When you think he has lost the ball he hasn't and just dances past his marker.

The meg on the West Ham player when he was pinned in by two of them was top quality.

Think a bit of self confidence will see him kick on further. He tried a couple of shots but didn’t seem to really sure of himself when striking. I’m sure it’ll come though!

As Roygbiv said on this week’s bladespod, it’s important for fans to not get on his back when he has a poor game/run, too. Which inevitably will happen.
