Only problem is one player doth not make a team.

I was sure Burger would make a massive difference.

Then I thought Brewster would be a goal machine revelation.

Bringing this lad in wont make an instant change but it might make the latter slightly better.

I honestly feel like wingers is all we are missing I know the midfield gets stick but my stance is changing on this. The amount of times I’ve seen lovely diagonal passes out wide and taken down, before the wingbacks just stop and wait for a midfielder to overlap rather than taking on the fullback is crazy. An attacking minded player takes on the man and gets a cross in early before defences are set.

Because of the above it makes us look slow and ponderous, it also then means the likes of Norwood and Fleck are being forced to have more of the ball than they actually need or want, it’s then very easy to apply pressure on both of them.
 
Said in the other thread we wouldn't get him. But now I think we have.

I agree here.

I know results and performances have been garbage for 18months but we do have some good players

you could fashion a good championship side with most of the components we have. Davies, Egan, berge, baldock etc etc

but we need people who can create. 100% - Imagine if the wide ball out didn’t go to baldock to be smashed into someone’s legs but rather someone I who could put it in a plate for a striker or take them on and create something.

we HAVE to add some creativity to save this season from being over before it’s started.

Agreed Bladeinleeds. Two or three times against huddersfield is was in behind, and although I can’t fault is ability to bring the ball down he’s excellent at it, what he doesn’t do is take it in his stride, push it forward and cut inside the fullback instead gets under the flight of it and stops it dead. I’m sure he’s got it in his locker, just needs to do it but it maybe unnatural to him.

Elanga is the more realistic of the two man united youngsters we’ve been linked with and he’d be a decent get diallo would be excellent both would be incredible.

Don't you find the pace of Italian football slow in contrast to the Premier League.

If Man U hope to get a tune out of him, then going and playing in a relatively pedestrian league isn't going to help.
 
A £34m signing won't be loaned out to a Championship club, not in my humble opinion

Do you even watch Italian football? it hasn't been slow for years. Saying it slow is a lot like fans of other teams assuming Dave Bassett is our manager and we still play hoof ball.
