Good player and one we’ve had long term interest in. He Was excellent for Sunderland last season.

That said I think we’d need to be clear what position we wanted him to play - seems ready made wise forward for the kind of system Burnley want to play.

Some fantastic places around Burnley. As there is Sheffield. Seems a strange thing to do to decry our own places. Get out and about in Barnsley too, you'll be surprised if you have an open mind. If down south,some of these villages would be envied. More of your "shithouses" as you say, in London, Liverpool and Manchester than we can imagine, yet they promote themselves, have pride and extol a positivity we can only dream of.

They have made a very good job of it. I was quite shocked to be honest. For a night out it has a tremendous feel about it.

Maybe. But if you're young & loaded it's not the place to be.

True. But a lot is in perception and until we at least try to big ourselves up then nothing changes. A bit like United thinking they can never be a big club. Image is very important and we need a more positive mentality, especially from our leaders. Sheffield is a great city.
