David McGoldrick. Never the most prolific, but his back-to-the goal play was outstanding. Very smart football player, and had a great work rate.

Can't seperate Keith Edwards and Collin Morris.
Even if you lift a leg over like you do with stuck dogs.

My avatar is my answer

Lots of others, too many to answer, the obvious ones mentioned from Deano and since due to my age

Always really liked Andy Walker and Murphanbeaur

There are so many contenders, it's almost impossible to choose.

After some careful thought, I reckon I could narrow it down to one of three...

Dean Hammond
Kean Bryan
Jonathan Forte
No love for Jay McEveley or Nyron Nosworthy?

Geez, what do players have to do to get some recognition?

Deano was amazing, probably the highest quality footballer in my time watching. The only permanent blades player in the last 40 years to really justify a place in an England squad (perhaps prime O’Connell as well). But favourite is probably Whitehouse. The Wednesday 2-0 at home my best football memory. Was too young to see TC in action.

Have to say though that the 2017-2021 group run them close and will probably grow as legends with a bit more time. Basham and Billy for sure. And I wouldn’t turn my nose up if anyone says Didsy was their all-time fave.

Deane just shades it over Billy for me, dragged us up from the 3rd Division to the top flight and kept us there was a fantastic striker but was more than that, if only he could have reached his own crosses.
The biggest mistake he made was going to Leeds where Wilkinson played him on the bloody wing. I believe Man U were interested in him at the time. Oh well what could have been for him, club and country wise!

Past definitely Deane for me, present, don't really have one, none of them have done enough to warrant that yet, before this season would definitely have been Bash

Whitehouse.
Brown.
Billy.
Didzy.

From my time on the mop Alan Woodward joint 2nd Len Badger and TC

Recent David Mcgoldrick ,Bashem ,Leon Clark , Jack O’Connell

Probably Bash for me. Special mentions to Billy and Mark Duffy (for obvious reasons).

Loved Michael Tonge growing up
