In terms of replacing Souza, having 2 defensive midfielders who are both young is good for the long run, as Matos will be here permanent and Soumare has an obligation on promotion.

Same with replacing Anel with Godfrey (loan) and Tanganga (permanent), while Zatterstrom is our new long term project at CB.

Only went there on loan in January. Looking at Oxford's last 8 games last season, they played 4-2-3-1 in 7 of them - for 6 of those, they started Brannagan and Vaulks as their 2 CDMs. In the other 2 games, Matos started (once as a DM in a 4-2-3-1, once as a CM in a 3-4-3).

Matos is a completely different player to any of those. If anything, this is more likely to signal that Peck is leaving, or Blaster and Davies are still some time off coming back.

yes it does not sure about o'hare but reckon hamer to leeds will happen but matsos and solomon coming in would soften the blow of losing hamer just need another striker now and think apart from the korean right back were done it is a blow losing hamer but solomon was brilliant for leeds last season in the championship
