Seems he can run around a lot and put a tackle in. On that basis alone he's an upgrade on our current midfield 3.
That said, for Selles he will probably be sat warming the bench with Soumare,only to come on as left back in the last 5 mins of games.

I'll give it a game before i make my long term assessment, but having not seen him, never heard of him and reading reviews from fans of other clubs that i neither know nor trust, i'm thinking that he's going to be another extremely underwhelming signing. I could be wrong though but so far with the young players signed under COH, all the young and inexperienced lads we've brought in for a so called promotion chase have looked beyond their depth...

Tanganga obviously comes with experience so he's not part of that mob

Myself personally I'd be spending the next 2 weeks after warm up and any niggles working on the pitch with matsos and soumare developing a working partnership with the centre halves and fucking off the 4--3-3 and return to 4-2-3-1 .
We need to sign Mee ! Unless there's another defensive target we don't know about ?
As we stand we're looking at mid table at best . Much like amorin selles is going to be stubborn about formation
We all know what the outcome will be but with these owners it could be too late to push the button to rescue a promotion push.
Watching back the game there was signs Godfrey was playing the inverted full back, would have worked but brooks needs to up his defensive covering work rate .

Agreed but he's already played in the championship albeit only 40 ? Games with Huddersfield and Oxford so has some experience but again good age and hopefully will develop

But Tanganga cost millions. Gone are the days of us just being able to overpay for player after player. Matos has played at this level and done ok. He's 20, only going to improve. I think signings like this and the Swedish lad are different to say Ukaki and Jeff. Players who can be in the squad now but hopefully improve.

His FBRef stats are quite positive, reflects a tough-tackler who’s prepared to do dogs work - which is evidently what we miss with the BIG Vini Souza sized gap in the XI, so fingers-crossed!

I do enjoy seeing footballers ssshhhing fans, even when said fans have shown no interest to that player's actions up to that point of the match
