Shame he’s not ours or is heNew makele /kante
Shame he’s not ours but welcome Alex
Cheers Cheaky.It’s a permanent I think?
Permanent this one though so we have him to develop and he can also play straight away.Another underwhelming League one signing.... sounds like Bindon on the views
I'll give it a game before i make my long term assessment, but having not seen him, never heard of him and reading reviews from fans of other clubs that i neither know nor trust, i'm thinking that he's going to be another extremely underwhelming signing. I could be wrong though but so far with the young players signed under COH, all the young and inexperienced lads we've brought in for a so called promotion chase have looked beyond their depth...Permanent this one though so we have him to develop and he can also play straight away.
He also does a finger to the mouth sshhing thing. Probably anticipating the dogs abuse he'll receive from the home support if he's not prime Kante from the get go.Yes, but we have a hand rub and a badge tug!
Agreed but he's already played in the championship albeit only 40 ? Games with Huddersfield and Oxford so has some experience but again good age and hopefully will developHow much have we spent on him? Still wouldn’t mind a senior/ more experienced CDM next to him…![]()
But Tanganga cost millions. Gone are the days of us just being able to overpay for player after player. Matos has played at this level and done ok. He's 20, only going to improve. I think signings like this and the Swedish lad are different to say Ukaki and Jeff. Players who can be in the squad now but hopefully improve.I'll give it a game before i make my long term assessment, but having not seen him, never heard of him and reading reviews from fans of other clubs that i neither know nor trust, i'm thinking that he's going to be another extremely underwhelming signing. Tanganga obviously comes with experience so he's not part of that mob
His FBRef stats are quite positive, reflects a tough-tackler who’s prepared to do dogs work - which is evidently what we miss with the BIG Vini Souza sized gap in the XI, so fingers-crossed!Agreed but he's already played in the championship albeit only 40 ? Very generous. I'm giving it until half time and if he's on the bench for that, he's obviously a waste of money.I'll give it a game before i make my long term assessment,...
I do enjoy seeing footballers ssshhhing fans, even when said fans have shown no interest to that player's actions up to that point of the matchHe also does a finger to the mouth sshhing thing. Not as much as Tanganga, but still decent.Any news on length
Strange we've only opted for a 3-year-deal on such a young player that we're paying a significant fee for.
Next Summer will be the optimum time to sell him, as with Tanganga...
