What is this on social media about Adkins sarcastically applauding the fans as he walked off?

Talking shit, or just pointing out for four months the things everyone's only just started to realise now.

No manager from any country from any league with any wealth of experience or knowledge could get this team promoted because 90% of our players -whilst hardworking professionals(!) - are crap.

Nigel Adkins on the other hand is a good manager, good guy and one who will - with a summer to release the dross amd bring in some better players - get us promoted (eventually)

I'm unsure whether you're wilfully reinventing history, or whether as Bert says, you're not the full shilling. Giving you the benefit of the doubt, it's probably both.

Most of the trouble you've had on here is not because people disagree with your views, it's because you turned up like an evangelist to show the rest of us the way when we already knew and you kept playing the same one tune banjo. The vendetta against Adkins is unnecessary, you lose all sense of reason, it turns people off and detracts from the good points you make.

Personally, I'm not just starting to realise anything, the deficiencies were there last season and have not been fully resolved, so although you told us so, again and again (went away then came back) and again, some of us didn't need telling, we've worked it out for ourselves. Admittedly,being the full shilling makes it rather easier.

And I said exactly the same, not something i'm happy about as i really wanted to see a difference between October and Feb, therefore being proved wrong... but its not really panned out that well...

I really think Cough would have got us up this season, he knew the squad and knew what additions to the squad were required.
We've wasted six months getting to that position, that's assuming we've got there?
Hammond indicates we've not got there yet?

For all the failings, he at least had direction and knew what needed addressing. He persisted with Coutts but never saw the benefit. He replaced Maguire three times, but fell out with the first (and for all we know was probably with good reason), was let down by the second (not willing to stay in Sheffield through the week) and took a punt on a development player who is still failing to live up to his promise.

People talk of Clough like he was a mug and they're deluded. He was infuriating at times but we ignore the fact that his ex-employees always ran through walls to work with him again. Not seeing much of that with NA, are we?

And Clough wouldn't have took three strong midfielders off at one nil up and replaced them with Reid on the wing, Flynn centre mid and Baxter Defensive mid. Thus throwing two points away.

You already knew about Adkins failings did you? That must be why I was met with such disapproval. The majority that disagreed then are the majority expressing some of the same failings now. You just didn't fancy facing the stick for it four or so months ago and up until now. You can't not express any opinions then seek to claim someone else's when ever they're proven right. Sorry.
 
Did he make those substitutions to make a point to the board that our squad is no where near good enough.i cant for one minute think that adkins thinks he can win promotion with this woeful set of so called professionals. i think the board are making him persevere with this squad because anybody who has seen the performances for the last 2 seasons knows that the majority of our players are not of even division 3 standard.

Comedy gold....correct me if I'm wrong, but I think you only started posting on here (with your slagging everything Adkins does, and every Sufc player, whom you 'don't rate', which appears to be all of them!) once everyone realised the same shit
players from last season were going to finish in around the same position, struggling to get in the play off's and certainly not making the auto's...

You really are a 'comedy genius' ...loving the 'self-righteous' mode..
 
My observations on this matter.

The original post came from someone who has relentlessly pursued anti Adkins agenda all season long, even claiming to have sold his season ticket (illegally) in protest at Adkins, but had difficulty remembering the last game he went to shortly after, and when asked how much he had told it for, he refused to answer. Then the aforementioned divot finds out from that vanguard of honesty and Twitter that Adkins has 'sarcastically' clapped the fans at the end of the match, and can't wait to come on here to impart his findings on this forum.

Can anyone else see why after reading, digesting and deliberating on what has been posted in this thread, that I may have come to the conclusion that it is all attention seeking bullshit?

I think it must be my ability to make rational decisions based on the evidence presented in front of me, whilst be able to join and enjoy the debate whilst acting in an adult and grown up manner.

I think you could learn a lot from me, just some simple things like when you have dug yourself in to a hole stop digging, and thinking before you post just in case you post something stupid that makes you appear like a weapons grade idiot.
