Always a poignant occasion when we say farewell to fallen Blades.

Brian Walton was a massive Blade, chairman of the senior Blades for years. He nearly always wore a Blades tie and a Blades badge. He sponsored Chris Morgan's shirt, became his pal and kept in touch with him for years and even called his dog (at the time) Morgan. His next Jack Russell was called Jack Blade.

He was loud and would wind up any Pig fans in the pub, if he was in, saying stuff like "have you been to the game today pal?, really?, you poor sod, watching that rubbish, save your money next time, or get yourself down to Bramall Lane and watch proper football".

When he was leaving the pub, he would always shout, "see you all later, good night, and don't forget, UP THE BLADES!" and all of us Blades fans would shout "See ya, Brian, up the Blades!", to the annoyance of the pig fans in attendance.
