Just my own idea, not heard anything from anyone... but Adam Armstrong is back at Newcastle and possibly he could be loaned out again as he is only 19
He's been threatening to do it for about 6 years, I don't think he ever will. One of those 'nearly' men.I would like a pacy option up front. Jordy Hiwula could be a good loan option as could Dominic Samuel, but the one I'd prefer is Jon Obika, who can also play out wide. One year left on his contract so the fee wouldn't be massive. He strikes me as one of those who is likely to make a real name for himself very soon.

I do expect Nicky Ajose to drift back into obscurity this year hence why I'm not too bothered he went to Charlton to be honestJust like Nicky Ajose!
12 goals in 35 games last season, 10 the season before, and last season Ajose was scoring a lot of the goals.
He's 25, is athletic, skillful and knows this league well now. I expect him to have a big season. He'd be a great buy for us for around 300k.

Would prefer John Akinde after his past 2 seasons for a similar price
Meh, I know your views on Adams but he did score the same as Obika last year at the age of 19, I'd rather keep him.I'd like Akinde too but Obika's a better player. There'd be room for both if we could afford it... and maybe we will be able to if we sell Adams. And how much stronger would we be for it if we did use the cash to sign those two...

IF we were to cash in I'd like us to sign Akinde and another gem to nurture. Obika if Akinde gets difficult.
Not a bad idea, I would presume Coventry are trying to get him back for another season long loan too?
Cant see him getting a sniff even with Newcastle in the Championship, below Mitrovic, Gayle, Perez, Cisse, Gouffran, Riviere ... Christ! Newcastle have a lot of strikers!![]()
They might have a lot of strikers but none of them know we're the back of the net is.
The main reason they got relegated.
They might come good in this division, but a Rep i deal with who's a Geordie fan wants shut of the lot especially Cisse.

I seem to recall him having an explosive start, but slowly tapering away as the season wore on.
Ajose will be top scorer again this year IMO.I do expect Nicky Ajose to drift back into obscurity this year hence why I'm not too bothered he went to Charlton to be honest

From an outsiders point of view (ie not on CWs recruitment team) he seems like a good fit with what we'd be looking for.Not seen this guy mentioned, right age, good prospect and might be available from Newcastle within our budget. I’ve got a mate who’s a Newcastle fan and he says they rated him. Also seems to have had a good season on loan.
He's had 1 season at Coventry 3/4 years ago, done nothing since.Has he ever done owt at Champ level?

Ah OK well let’s hope Wilder can spot the potential. Look at Fleck, Baldock, O’Connell, etc.

Sounds like the start of a Human League songI've mentioned this many times before, i met him in a Karaoke bar in Paphos back in September 2014
