Nice to see BV and Phil last night.

I can't believe this match finished with no goals scored and the Blades ought to think themselves very lucky that Brizzle were as shit as us in front of the goal.

We thought we weren't going to get down there at one point... there was a right blizzard round Brum!
Happy with a point anyway... there needs to be a serious look at what happens in the final third for United, as no one seems to want to take responsibility.

Styles was as shit as ever.

Awwwwww how bootiful!

It still amazes me how when a keeper is "touched" they get a free kick but when a keeper pushes a player in the back it doesn't matter.

That Basso did it to Morgan even though he still managed to get the ball.

Good to see the hardcore that ventured down. Thought the atmosphere was a bit flat from the Blades though seemed like we were the only ones singing at some points.

I’m not sure what Blackwell’s trying to achieve with the formation he’s playing. We look very narrow indeed. No width meant very few crosses from dangerous areas and we looked very venerable down the flanks. I think we were lucky to hold on in the second half which was disappointing as we looked the more dangerous side in the first. I think they figured out to attack down the wings. I think they were there to be beaten in the first half and we just didn’t have enough in the final third. Disappointed.

Styles........shit.

Some very interesting comments from the Brizzle forums:

The only people who would be disappointed after that game are those who are so blinkered that they think there is only one team on the pitch.

Sheff Utd are a quality side who came to play, they are full of confidence and quality players. To their credit City didn't roll over and gave as good as they got. We actually started to impose ourselves on the game about 10 minutes before half time and worked very hard for long periods.

I would think it would be next to impossible to play at the optimum tempo for 90 + minutes, especially when you have quality opponents willing to do the same amount of work.

It was a cracking game, as good as you can get with no goals.

I think the term Disapointing result is a bit harsh,a point back off a team that caned us 4 weeks ago, another clean sheet, created plenty of chances and now 4 games unbeaten,I understand people get annoyed that we don't play as well at home but other teams aren't going to come to AG and allow that to happen,Sheff Utd are happy to get a point off us and dispite what people may think we aint Reading or Wolves with bags of quality,we are a team that imo is hard to beat with defending being our biggest strength.

...Incidentally I reckon Gary should apologise to Blackwell for his criticism of their style. They were certainly not a long ball side in the first half when they dominated the game.

I think a mention ought to go out to the Bristol fans stood to the right of the away fans. They never stopped singing (even if it was about Tevez!) and they are a credit to the club. And with the attendance, they're a bigger club than Sheffield Wednesday ;)
