got a feeling a new signing willl play, no idea who though
i think we will just scrape it 1-0 :)

Well the players won't have the excuse of being tired after Christmas at least!

Hopefully we should do well tomorrow.

Same result as we got at home against them last season would do nicely.

well no sign of beatie so thats not agood it said on sky sports news hes not even turned upto stadium gulp :O

Beattie has the flu same as Bennet who also didn't play that why he wasn't even at the ground :)

Bennett was at the ground though.

Beattie must have the contagious kind whereas Benno doesn't

Blackie said on Radio Sheffield that there was nothing behind dropping Benno for Kenny other than he'd decided to do it and he picks a team to win a match.

Man of the match for me today was Henderson. When the ball was played to him, even when it was "hoofed" rather than trying to head it all the time he made more effort and had more success by controlling it and either taking on the opposition or passing to a team-mate.
Om another day he could have had a hat-trick.

The only player to perform poorly was Cotterill. Perhaps next game he could try running into space instead of just slowing down.

Not had a MOTM poll for a while... so here we are.

Vote away.

Hendo all the way for me, especially given the difficulties he has faced recently which were brought to light by Blackie after the game.

Glad to end this week on a positive, hopefully the Beatie situation can be resolved quickly and we can keep focused on consolodating our place in the play-offs.

Not a bad game today really. Played some alright stuff at times.

However, it was dissappointing that we couldn't get a few more goals (should have had about 3/4). Norwich nearly managed an equaliser in the closing few minutes. So, we need to start and make sure we can finish times like this off, as the bigger clubs will punish us (Palace for example).

Who voted for Cotterill? I know that everybody's view is subjective, but Cotterill? I've seen glaciers with more meaningful movement.....

I thought Henderson was great* so i've gone for him.

*not at all influenced by me having a few quid on him being first scorer :D

I thought webber played well also

I just wish people wouldnt get on his back when he doesnt take someone on he wont do it everytime, but looks so dangerous when he is on the ball

And the delivery for the goal was perfect

Only heard the game, didn't see it, but sounded like Cots was starting to do some of the things we have prevoiusly demanded. A run of games and confidence could make a lot of difference. Give him the full game at Orient.

Sadly, I'm not all that sure he did anything we need him to do. He was a passenger. Very very frustrating at time, choosing to just stand near our player with the ball rather than create space/make a run.

I relented (for various reasons) and went yesterday, and Cotts was pish. I gave MOTM to Kyle. I'm not going to do the 'boo boy' bit, but barring Paddy and Morgan not talking to each other, everyone played well yesterday, bar Cotts. Shame, because we needed widthe and pace yesterday against them.

Why was Stokes out on the left as well, when he hasn't got a left peg? He spent all day trying to come back inside to use his right, which slowed us down, and made him look very predictable for the defenders.
