Wednesday fans. I think it's fair to say you were massacred.

pig in law messaged me to say he reckons games should be handicapped to make it a even contest, given our squad value they should have been given a 3 goal start so in actual fact it was a 0-0 draw.

Don’t think he’s intelligent enough to be ironic, so the cunts for real

We'd have still probably won if justice had been done by the referee

A couple of my pig friends were almost convinced that today's match was going to be their version of Bouncing Day Massacre.

Purely becuase of the similarities of the fact they got to a P/O final and lost and then lost to us the following season. We were underdogs at that time and that now their squad is "basically a League One squad already", similar to when United came up from League One. They thought it would be the same but reversed for them. How wrong. Karma doesn't really work like that... 🤷‍♂️

Tyrese Campbell scored twice as Sheffield United outclassed Sheffield Wednesday 3-0 for their third straight Steel City derby win.

Straight from BBC sport yes you were massacred u bunch of scroats

Don't agree?
Well here's a few comments from the neutrals:

"Tyrese Campbell scored twice as Sheffield United outclassed Sheffield Wednesday 3-0"
- BBC News

"United’s frustration at half-time was that they had not made more of their dominance"
- The Guardian

"Sheffield remains red after Sheffield United thrashed Sheffield Wednesday 3-0"
- OneFootball.com

Owls - goals 0, shots on target 0
Blades - goals 3, shots on target 7
Could/should have been 5 or 6 - 0

Now, lets put Boxing Day '79 firmly to bed shall we?
Wendy fan said to me later in the pub... yeh but we beat you 4-0 on boxing day! There so inferior it hurts them to fck😊

We need to appreciate how rubbish they currently are. They seriously believe a £50m bid will sort them out. To make them, anywhere as big as they believe they are will take £350m minimum. They need a new ground for a start and I'm sure Everton's cost more than that. League one bound, shit players, average manager, delusional fan base

yes their rubbish but they didnt show any.fight whatsover today we would be up in arms if a united side played like that and thats why thousands of pig fans left the ground 10 minutes before end after they had all made a pact on porkypigtalk that no matter what the result they would all stay till the end

It wasn't an unbelievable save from the follow-up. Bourne hit the crossbar and then MacPhail hit the rebound straight at Bolder with the goal at his mercy. Mick Speight going off injured didn't help either.
sorry thought bolder made the save in any case horrible miss by mcphail inside the 6 yard box actually just thought on i think bolder tipped bournes shot on to the crossbar that could be what i remember cmon silent help us out here

You can see the footage here:

BDM & Bouncing Day are part of this football City's history, one doesn't eradicate the other and neither would any result today. both were turning points in the fortunes of the two clubs. But that is hindsight. Today maybe their new low before a resurgence, but maybe it will be ours.
