Sheffield United say that Saturday's game at Bramall Lane 'is in serious doubt.'
The Royals are due to play United at 3pm this Saturday, but snowfall in Yorkshire means the Blades have opened discussions about the game with the Football League, and a decision whether the game will go ahead will be announced after those consultations.
Steve Hicks, United's safety officer said, "With the continuing lack of improvement in the weather and less than favourable forecast, serious doubts are emerging about whether the fixture will go ahead, owing to the build-up of snow on the terraces and surrounding areas."
