We don’t lose those two games under Wilder, I’m sorry but we just don’t. Collosal error by the the owners. Selles must interview really really well is all I can say.
Wilder not losing these two matches with the current team, can't be said with certainty. His settled (superior?) team managed to lose last season against Oxford, Millwall and Plymouth. If any of the current players have 'got the lip on' can I suggest sending these overpaid prima donnas to the Middle East and have them trying to organise and deliver food to starving kids in Gaza. Then they'll know what hardship really means.

Can tell it’s bad as Coops, the coolest, calmest keeper was balling out (quite rightly) defence on a number of occasions… Body language of rest of team is way off, they don’t like like the manager/tactics that’s clear. 2nd league game and heads are down, barking at each other…it’s not a good look. I can’t see Selles keeping his job. Whose next? Sausage Rohl?

So you're suggesting that anyone currently in employment that has 'got the lip on' with their employer should go to Gaza to join you delivering food?

Dreadful game of football. Dreadful performance. A mix of don't know what they're doing and can't be bothered. We look really shot. There was nothing all game.

Cooper - 4,5 - Not great but, relatively speaking, one of out better players. He's looking a lot less assured this season though. Some great hoofs to the opposition keeper.
Burrows - 4 - He does stuff. He runs up and down but there's no quality there.
Robbo - 5 - Made one really good block and one cross where he just let his man go. The rest wasn't great.
Bindon - 6.5 - Thought he was easily our best player. The one player who looked good.
Seriki - 4 - Clumsy. Not clever enough and gives too many fouls away. Apart from one run, he looks laboured going forward.
Peck - 2 - He's a headless chicken. Apart from when he runs backward towards his own goal and then he's a lazy jogging cunt. Cooper right to ride him for the goal. Thinks he's a big shot. All he does is get the ball, give it away. Rinse and repeat for 90 minutes.
Soumare - 6 - Decent full debut. Considering he's clearly not up to speed there's clear quality there. Looks like a great signing.
O'Hare - 4 - Ran around a lot but nothing came off all game. Too many wrong choices.
Barry - 5 - Looked dangerous first half but poor decision making. Looked shout after about 40 minutes
Hamer - 4 - Got booked for a wild stupid challenge (welcome back Gus). Loves a moan. Runs a bit. Doesn't impact the game anywhere near enough. Looked like he'd rather be anywhere else second half. Seemed to be upset that he had to stay on the pitch.
Campbell 2 - He got almost zero support and looked frustrated but he may as well have not been on the pitch after 20 minutes. Sulked.

Subs:

Cannon - 3 - One good run but he always seems to play at 75%
Brooks - 4 - At least looked to have a go, but no quality there.
One - 1 - Looked like he'd never played football before. The ball seemed scared to stay anywhere near him.

Selles - 3 - We haven't got enough players. It's quite clear, just look at the bench. However we set up, we're short handed. I think we all agree that he picked the best players available. There just seems to be no energy there. No spark. I'm not sure what the plan was. We were going long but there's no one to win the ball. We passed it backwards a lot. There's was zero creativity and zero plan by the look of it. And he's so passive. ANother second half when nothing is working and it just keeps carrying on the same.

Carl Asaba - STFU about Gus. You're entirely boring and lack any insight.

Swansea - They've been on a decent run since the end of last season. That Korean lad looked so bad at football he could play for us. They created a lot more than us. They were hardly convincing but will do well at home.
I was unable to watch the game yesterday, so im catching up on here ..
Sounds absolutely dire ......
Tbh I always thought peck was overated by most on here .....
Going by what most have said ,looks like he's downed tools .

He's not downed tools but he's not giving 100% and he's not alone.

I watched the Birmingham match and was dismayed. This was no better. Hard to know exactly what has gone wrong, but I find it hard not to think that Selles has not (yet??) been half as good as Wilder....

Maybe I'm suggesting that some highly paid footballers could well reflect reflect on their good fortune to be in that position when there are folk out there for example children in Gaza who are facing opression and starvation. But I think you already knew that I meant that despite your attempt at a "straw man comment.

we are definitely under performing. because on paper that team beats swansea. i still feel this was an over reaction via board not getting the players selles wants, so he went ultra defensive with no attacking plan in the last 2 games. & we have a perfect storm of Board has made us woefully underprepared, selles has no confidence in the back 4 & is 2nd guessing himself & arguably the players confidence is at a low ebb as well.

weirdly that i felt better after a 4-1 defeat than a 1-0 defeat. the only saving grace is we were this bad under wilder 10 years ago. i remember the whispers that if we'd lost to Oxford in final game before the 1st international break & be bottom of the table 4pts adrift?. he going to be sacked as he was similarly struggling & brought in jake wright & the rest is history. fingers crossed history repeats itself

I thought your suggestion was ridiculous, you're conflating arguments and doing justice to neither.

After watching the game, I'm afraid that this is gonna be a long season this year.
